Mr Campbell\'s decision was announced by Downing Street shortly after 1430 BST on Friday.

Michael Moore?

Now, back to the topic, sucks for Blair. Now, I like Bliar ONLY because, he was brave enough to stand up for what he believed was right (especially since he is a liberal). But, given the viciousness of the BBC trying to bring down Blair, it is unforetuenetly expected.

As for Hillary, first thing I thought too.

To be honest, I do not have enough info on whether or not he is a "liar". If the info he had, and gave was anything that Bush gave, then no, was no liar. If anything, the info he had "may" be incorrect or exagerated, but is by no means a liar. All I said...sucks for Blair (which it is). I didn\'t say that Campbell is guilty of anything. And it really sucks that he would be the one to take the blame for something he didn\'t do. But, it still is no help to Blair or his government now. Especially by the BBC which is trying to impose their agenda in Britain.

And? We are still searching and many reports have shown that yes, Iraq DOES have WMD. It will take time to look for them. Sure, even if we do find them, it would be questionable that would EVER please the anti-war crowd (I\'m guessing...never)...but this can\'t be counted out as a lie by the anti-war people yet.

"The National health is save in our hands"

Depends on what he means by this. If he means keeping the current socialized medicare, which is a terrible system IMO...and he decided to change this, then yes, he did "lie". But that is stretching it because this statement is too damn general to come up heads or tales what he means. Sounds like typical political speak.

and this
"Crime is falling"

Well, yup, this is a lie espeically if crime IS rising. But again, more political speak which...most/all politicians (unforetunetly) are guilty of.

Quote
and this one
"the Millenium Dome will only cost 200 Million"

Wow. Sounds just like our politicians. Project supposed to cost 1 billion, in reality, cost 5 billion. Lie? Yup. But a lie that is ALL too common? Yes.

And this line
"Asylum is under control"

Ahhhhh...the immigration issue. Well, I agree that from what I hear about the immigration issue (specifically, the asylum issue on the other side of the pond) this is a problem...that is NOT under control. So here, I agree with you is a lie.

The problem is though, you just described 80-90% of the politicians. Unless we have some sort of revolution that truely shakes up the system, Campbell is not alone in his "lies".

^^^Just because its common place doesn\'t mean that its not wrong. If 9 out of 10 people solved their problems by stabbing the nearest person does that mean person number 3 shouldn\'t be labelled a criminal?

But he has.. because he the man responsible for the Governments fixation of Image over Public Service.

Please remember that politicians are public servants and there by should place the publics need way ahead of personal ambitions.

I\'m not disagreeing with you. Just that, I can name MANY politicians on this side of the pond that sound and act just like Campbell on BOTH sides of the aisle. Many even in high up jobs. From John Kerry, Richard Gephart, Chuck Shumer, Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, Jim Jeffords, Trent Lott, Olympia Snow, Orin Hatch, and so on and so on. And yes, even George W. Bush falls into this category.

Those of coarse are at the national level. Being in California, I can easily name quite a few image over public service, power over the public good of the state (nation) politicians that drove us into the mess we are currently at in this state (Gray Davis whom is now under a recall [which all the elites REALLY hate since its "anti-democracy".]).

Its a fact, a VERY unfortenate fact, but a still a fact.
