You\'re all brain-washed, barely hit puberty idiots (\'cept Bobo and nO-One). Korn\'s only decent album was the first - after that they became the N-Sync of "nu-metal".. And damnit, Faith No More brought "nu-metal" to the front, not Korn - only difference is, you aren\'t old enough to remember it.

dont put slipknot and bizkit in the same sentence. Slipknot has maybe 2 songs that have rap but theyre good because coreys voice and the music isnt like dursts or anyone else to does rap-rock. Bizkit just sucks

I never said that I thought the 3rd one was the best damnit people don\'t read I just said it was the pinnacle of their career speaking of albums sold and popularity. I liked the 1st the best 3rd second then  the second one was decent and the other 3 have been not too bad. To say they are the nsync is a little foolish.

Korn has been pretty garbage for a while. Im with the few that think FTL was the start of the fall. There were some singles that were ok, but other than that i really dont like korn at all. Even the first cd had a few not so great songs. Everybody can say well, oh they are so dark and they are creative blah blah blah, but its just  soft metal that has been commercialized.

If I want metal, then its certainly not korn. Nu metal in general is not all that high on my list. Death and black metal is the way to go. But im not saying thats the only thing out there. There are light bands that have tons of ingenuity but korn has dropped off big time.

Hmm, Im guessing no one listened to Issues in its interity (sp?)

I listen to it almost every week. Their second best, S/T is no doubt the best.

This CD seems to gratify them, they are "Back to the Basics", as even their new tour is named after it.

I can still see KoRn pumping out another good album or two.

(About the Nu-Metal thing)
Honestly, I dont think they are Nu-Metal. They have sort of transformed. I think its just New-Metal, no pun. When they were around, no other band was like them. Their guitars, bass, drumming, and vocalist were all unique. They were origional. Now they are dying because people are just copying them.

BTW: Anyone else purchase it? I think its their 3rd best work. Right after Issues.
Think for yourself. Question authority.

Simple fact like gravity.

I have to agree with this, although I\'d argue that Issues was a slight step above Follow the Leader.  Not ever really a big fan of the band though.

agreed

first album - awesome

second album - good but becoming less rap rock and more rap in some songs

third album - great but style is changing with a lot of syntesized things - not the route of change i was looking for

fourth - first song just said it all - i was like what the **** - few songs good while others are - well not

fifth album - sound is consistent for most part - almost a mix of issues and follow the leader - far from orgin of first album

and finally the newest one - well this one seems to take from other heavier bands with johnathan screaming into mic to the point of not even knowing what hes saying - its kind of gay imo - although it is heavier - this album lacks a lot of variety - each song starts with a little synth beat and then hits heavy guitar and then goes to slow and back to heavy - just listen to the album and almost all songs do this - its just sad

imo the albums should go first is best - third iwas second best and second album is third - the rest are barely honorable mentions

btw this is coming from a big korn fan - they were one of my favorite bands - just dont prefer their style much anymore - but i also critique a little harder since i expect a lot
This Sig is a Work in Progress.

I thought the same thing about the sound of the CD.

Ive listened to it about 20x, and I can know I was just being judgemental.

Listen to number 12.

"Y\'all want a single? **** that shit!"

And yet they are about as mainstream as a rock group can get.
