Maybe I should do my research, but I thought that Thanksgiving was a established as a holiday for all Americans.

That\'s very interesting considering Thanksgiving has little religious influence... Oh well, sucks for them.

I figured you were when you said you don\'t celebrate those things. No birthdays, no Christmas. Are you a practicing Witness or just going with the family\'s flow?
To answer all those posts:
It is not a religious holiday, but it is a govermental holiday. Witnesses do not celebrate any holidays, including birthdays - though I did recently start celebrating mine. Out of my 20 years, I\'ve celebrated two birthdays and only limited people actually celebrated them with me.
I am no longer a witness. I left the religion when I was 13 or so - but a lot of my family still is, therefor I just go with the family flow. I could of went to friends house to eat, but if you don\'t celebrate something all your life, it\'s odd to start so late in your life.
Michael Jackson is no longer a witness either. He was disfellowshipped when he done the Thriller video, due to demonic overtones.
