Vid here\'s just a small example of the difference between living and training in a country that has desert, to one that does not.

This is to do with bush fire etc.
23 July, 2002, Aussie fire fighters went to USA help Americans to put out wildfires that were sweeping across 12 of your states. Sense, from your ideas. People get trained in all aspects as good as a country that LIVES in bush/desert land. America shouldn\'t have needed any aussies what so ever. But they did, why i wonder?

I know, because Australia are TRAINED in depth in bush firefighter, just as the Australian SAS are in desert Warfare.
Australia is a multi climate country. We have everything from snow, desert to thick forest. Hence our people get trained in all aspects all the time.

It\'s like, Iceland for example. (not sure if they have SAS) but if they did, do u think a country that has hardly no snow, would do better then a country that\'s got shit loads?

Pretty much every country has some kind of military man. Not usually their own equipment. Its either Soviet equipment or very old American equipment. We sold numerous countries F-4 Phantoms, F16A\'s, old F-15\'s, some countries even still use F-86 Sabres.

Hey, its not me saying it.. but Military folks..

But enough of that, do you think the attacks will stop? I saw Robert Fisk (remember him?) on Agenda (program on TV), he said the attacks might INCREASE, because there already were several terrorist groups and tribes in the area that were afraid to do anything because they thought Saddam might get back into power.. now that is not going to happen, so now its home free for them.

He also said most of the terrorist that have attacked Americans are Iraqis, and not so much foreign terrorist as people thought first.

They also showed a video from a French ( :rolleyes: ) tv team who got to go with some of the “Freedom fighters” on their raids.

Ill check if they have the video up on the website.. crap, not yet.. Maybe tomorrow.

We\'ll 1/2 of them are caught...all we need now is Osama, and honestly Osama is probably the only person American\'s should want. Sure Hussaid killed many people, but all the accusation that GWB cursed him with ...*cough*nukes**cough*...were all fake. But its ok right? The British SAS wrote the BOOK on modern desert warfare.

they Started life as the deep/long desert patrols during WWII.
