I thought it was b/c during that time there was a lot of tension between whites and blacks. Most of the jury was black, so in order to kick the whites in the balls they made him innocent.

I can name a couple of ways in which his race could have helped the trial but the fact that you CAN\'T shows that you are just talking out of your ass.



Like I said, your only disagreeing w/ me is because your black, and to this day blacks and whites are not treated equal, as sad as it is.

Also; are you like ****ing blind? I have stated he got off from 3 reasons;

1) Money
2) Race
3) Popularity

They were all 3 important things. Maybe you should just chill out and go read up.

He provides no evidence as why this wasnt the king of all cards. None. I know he is smart. He is a respected member, and most of the time I hold nothing against him. I am not a racist person. The only reason I say he is disagreeing with me, is because I can make assumptions, and I hold it that most black people in America do feel repressed, and insecure to some degree.

Apparently people think Im just some ignorant punkass kid. You have it wrong. You thinking that just reflects replaces what you think of me, and assumes your place. Dont think Im something Im not, when all you know me for is words.

I kinda agree with (e) alot of African Americans really do feel "evil" toward the white people sometimes.

i\'ll just speak for myself..i don\'t feel evil towards white people. It\'s just how they treat some of us. Look at all those incidents in ny during the guiliani years (i\'m not going to list them all but i\'m sure you are familiar) the incident in texas where an african amer. was dragged from the back of a pick-up truck..the one incident in ny where the cops was asking this african amer. for some id in his apt...when he reached to get his wallet the cop screamed "he has a gun!" they shot him 41 times!

Alot of our culture has been stolen from us..yeah you can state back in the slavery times black people actually sold their kind to white people..this i know. What i mean by stolen is i know that alot of people actually think rock n roll was created by white people right? guess again..and don\'t even get me started on rap & r& b. :rolleyes:

And for all you religious folk..at least those that read the bible..what color do you think jesus is? hmm i think it stated his feet was like bronze & hair like wool..yet the pictures we see are blue eyes with straight hair. I\'m sure in the grand schemes of things it doesn\'t matter what color he is. But i think if america actually acknowledged that in their churches,..i think half the people would probably have a heart attack.

Now i know reading this some will say.."damn he\'s racist or has some serious issues" i say this is just how i feel & what i\'ve experienced as far as that subject goes. Now i know for the most part white people are good hard working people like everybody else,..it\'s just the few that are racist that piss me off. I have to say this tho..when i totaled my 240 back in 92..the only person that came along to help me was a white person..and believe me i was shocked..i had the skully hat deep down close to my eyes sagged jeans etc..if i saw myself i wouldn\'t have approached me! :D anyway he saw my car wrapped around the tree stump & let me use his cell phone to call for help.

i apologize if i\'m offending anybody and i don\'t want to sound like a broken record but hopefully you guys know i\'m not racist & just speak from what i\'ve experienced read & seen :)

Anyway, it could very well be possible to be biased because someones black but that doesnt mean that that is the case. Spudz you may be wrong and are using this as a defence because you consider yourself correct and its natural of course. Im far from ghetto or ignorant (w/e you may call it) and i might be biased but you can\'t overlook the fact that race may not have been the dominant "card" in this case.

It would have helped more if he were rich and white if not the same. Whether they played the race card im sure bot would have been found innocent with the same evidence. The justice system is not always correct but what are you going to do about it? Not saying that i like this fact. In all honesty who really cares if race was the dominant card. Many times black people are opressed because of the fact. In this case, whether race was an issue or not, you probably couldn\'t have proved him guilty. Evidence is evidence and race... well it holds less water than any hard evidence any day.

he got off cause he had some of the best lawyers surrounding him at the time. I don\'t think race had anything to do with it. Even when he got off the family of his wife charged him in a civil suit if i remember correctly. the theme of it was that they sued him for being undirectly responsible for his wife\'s death & they won..i think he has to pay something to the tune of millions of dollars.

So this cat will be broke for the rest of his life unless he starts starring in some flicks..oh well i guess it\'s better to be broke than being bubba\'s biatch in jail! :D

Minitorities should be treated just like Whites. Why should they get special deals in the way things work

I think it had to do with the fact that during the times that Affirmative Action was passed, employers were taking race as a major consideration.
