Rule of thumb, a yellow light stays yellow one second for every ten miles per hour the speed limit is.

I generally try to go through them, but I don\'t change speed. If you have too gun it, you\'re too far back. If you start to slow down, you mess up your rhythm and it usually turns red before you get there...

I don\'t know how fast that kid was coming through the yellow, but she\'s just as at fault if he wasn\'t speeding and she tried to cut him off either hoping he would stop or because she didn\'t want to wait through another red light.

In hindsight, an extra 40 seconds at the light would\'ve been a lot better... Gotta be careful.

Wrong. When the light is yellow, the car already in the intersection has the right-of-way. He failed to yeild right-of-way.

I think it depends on the state. Some states might interpret the yellow light differently than other states.

Gotten pulled over about a dozen times in 29 years first ticket was a bored statey, pulled me over for doing 57 in a 55 zone. Tought it was pretty rediculas,.BeN A FEW TIMES WHERE I WAS GUILTY AS SIN.

yellow lights can be pretty tricky but i think its pretty easy to tell if your going to make it or not. Sometimes i gas up a bit or else ill have to make a harsh stop.

I also look behind me really quick to tell if someone will be in my trunk if i break on a questionable yellow.
