do people actually eat bull meat? i know we eat cows..female bull if i may add but i didn\'t think people ate bull meat..if they do i\'ve never heard of of it..but i have heard of something called buffalo something..i think it was actually buffalo balls or something to that degree that people actually ate.

as far as the sport of bullfighting i don\'t see the excitement of poking an animal to death then glorify over it like you\'re the man. people seem to think the animals overpopulate..nope people are the ones that move into they\'re territory..(buliding condos, houses etc) and then wonder why you have lions tigers & bears "oh my" in your backyard..theses animals have no where else to go.

But anyways.What do you think makes humans superior enough to have the right to do whatever they want with other creatures\' lives? :rolleyes:

And animals dont care about glory.They want to live.They want to survive.And I dont think an animal wouold have loved teh aspect of becoming "a firce beast" and die a slowly and painfully

* Yes, the bull\'s carcass is not wasted. You can eat bull meat. And if the bull did a good job, they\'ll cut off his head and it will go in a museum. I\'ve seen these museum\'s, very cool.

*Believe me, it is a thrilling experience. It\'s not just "poking" a bull... There is music, rhythm, precision, and art. Keep in mind that there are other shows where bulls do not die.... I remember they had this horse who was so awesome, it came out, and would actually taunt the bull and juke him out like a football player and run around, very neat.

We\'re greater than animals. I will gladly argue with anybody who thinks animals should have equal or even greater rights than humans. That\'s just absurd.

Because we\'re smarter than they are and we have always had dominion over them since our existence. It is from the nature of our being and because of my religious stance (and lets not head down there).

That doesnt make you any different than an animal.
As for religion that comes to contradiction to your beliefs if you are an Orthodox or a Catholic.

It\'s survival of the fittest, we need animals, animals need us. Unfortunately for them, because we are more intelligent, we get the upper hand in that deal. And it is by no way a contradiction if I am a Catholic (which I am not, I\'m Christian, although the differences are very small). In the Bible we\'ve always had clear dominion over animals, and they are like instruments to us. If you\'re referring to the commandment, "Thou shalt not kill" it is only if an animal is killed in vain.

Well then.If the chimp was the smartest being on the planet all other less intelligent beings would have been considered animals except from the chimp.

We already have the upper hand with animals that are being used to feed us.Torturing and killing more than necessary shows only our weakness to want MORE and MORE and MORE.We act as an intelligent animal.
Dominion over animals on the bible it may be.But that time the conenction between human and animal was differemt.Humanity offered to animals, animals offered to humans.Both survived with the help of the other.It was mutual gain.Now man acts as an arogant being with materialistic weaknesses.Man thanked God for what was offered to him and showed respect to hes creations.Now you just want more than necessary.You dont find enough what is offered to you and there is no respect to other existences.
