oh god... You are so funny. I heard read this whole thread. And who said this thread was about me watching basketball? You said stated your OPINION on the Lakers earlier. I have stated mine. I believe in a team that WINS. Go ahead and waste your time watching your mediocre team. I don\'t know if you have read this thread, but I route for the team that I find exciting to watch.

And you are hypocritical for resorting to name calling and labeling us "dumbasses" for routing for the showboat team... What\'s wrong with that? How can we be with what\'s wrong with sports today?? There is no logic in that. Like I said, if anything is wrong with sports today it\'s people like YOU who resort to such nonsense.

What I find wrong is when the Lakers suck, what next?  Will you just find another team to route for?  With your reasoning you would, and thats exactly why I find such a problem in this.  Doesn\'t help the situation when the winning team has no class.

Also, my use of name calling didn\'t strengthen your arguement but keep riding that.

Exactly. I stopped caring about the Bulls ever since Jordan retired. Why? Because I don\'t want to watch a bunch of crappy ass games with a bunch of no names I know or care about.  I don\'t want to route for a 20 wins a season team.  Why watch that when you can watch a team that\'s exciting and keeps things interesting. Boring or exciting? Your choice.

At this rate I won\'t even need to post.  You\'re doing just fine outing yourself.  Even Vapor can\'t defend you here.  He\'s a Laker fan, not a team of the moment fan.  

My favorite part though is the fact that you don\'t see anything wrong with being a bandwagon.  Also, theirs nothing wrong with watching the Cavs.

Outing myself from what? I enjoy watching basketball. So am I supposed to bow down before one team and that\'s it? You\'ve got to be kidding me man. I am a fan of the whole sport. You seem to believe I only like the Lakers because I defend them when people make comments that I don\'t agree with? Seriously Boz, stop trying already.

I don\'t really understand why you guys are bashing on SER so much... What is wrong with being an a sports fan in general? In fact, there is nothing wrong with rooting for whatever team is the most entertaining to you, and it is not mandatory to have a specific loyalty to one team. There are tons of fans like this, that enjoy watching specific teams because they put on a good show. The Lakers, Yankees, Rams, etc. are perfect examples of teams that are just entertaining to watch.

Like I said, tons of fans who have no alliances with any team, they watch the game for its entertainment. And I don\'t mean to be putting words in SER\'s mouth, but all he has done is defended the Lakers as a team thats fun to watch, and not specifically jumped on their bandwagon and only rooting for them.

Anyways...

The Lakers are up 3-1 on the Twolves, and that game was pretty much the series. Unless the Wolves can rally three straight wins, which won\'t happen because they can\'t win on the road, then the Lakers will have a nice path to the NBA Finals. Hopefully this series ends in Game 5, so the Lakers can heal up, as those Eastern Conference teams continue to beat the crap out of each other.

Either way, it would be a safe bet to say the Lakers will be the 2003-2004 NBA Champs.

Anyway, I don\'t want to argue anymore in this thread... So let\'s just go back to basketball.

I think the Lakers have it locked... But I wanna see Detroit up there.

I haven\'t watched a minute of this playoffs.  Judging by the last two posts though I guess I haven\'t missed much.  Lakers are going to win again?  Wow.  Shocker.  Maybe if Coby gets a little jail time the NBA can get a little more competition.
