Day After Tomorrow was crap. Every piece of worthwhile devestation, which is the whole point of seeing this movie, was over with inside of about the first 45 minutes to an hour. Not only that, but all the devestation caused was covered in the trailers making it all that much more unsurprising and lacked that whole "wow" effect it\'s supposed to have.
I\'m tired of seeing entire films in trailers.
All of this coupled with terrible acting (no one seemed comfortable with their characters ever) and the total lack of humanity displayed in the film (how can I focus on the tragedy of mankind when no one even mentions the amount of people lost in each devastating disaster) and we\'re left to focus on 5 people we don\'t care about in a library and one of the kid\'s fathers. This is why, as a disaster movie and a fight to save humanity, Armageddon, though filled with flaws, will always be the best disaster movie. No film captures the human spirit and need to survive better then Armageddon even though it\'s filled with more cliches and corny shots that riddle every disaster picture anyone has ever seen.
