Since my left arm is useless, i have been really relying on my rite arm, which is is getting in decent shape again. Im thinking of hitting the gym again except i cant do it like i used to
As for me working out in the mean time, i walk pretty much everywhere. I only use my wheelchair to sit at the kitchen table to eat or sit at the computer like now. I can drive again so thats good.
About a month ago i went to a store at the mall called the sports authority, and picked up a grip strengthener. Your able to adjust the tension and it works great, my arm is getting big.
As for my ab\'s i do them almost every night, i have to do them while laying in bed, i am unable to get off the floor on my own. I do at least 2 - 300 crunchs, followed by 50 - 100 reverse crunchs.
Meals I have depends
I have either 2 scrambled eggs and toast or to eggs sunny side up and toast.
Or oatmeal, or some Kashi go-lean crunch cereal coffe and juice.
No lunch
Dinner i might have chicken or fish, finished by a big salad, i don\'t pack it on i just eat till im content. I don\'t count carb\'s i believe more in portion control. Drink plenty of water, i do have a occassional rootbeer, thats my weakness but i follow it with plenty of water/
Prior to the stroke i weighed close to 250, now i weigh 207 .Count me in for the new forum
