Luckily for you, you\'re actually a pretty good catch. Tall, fit, relatively good looking, intelligent, and cultured. At least I hope you\'re cultured, having traveled as much as you have.
Heartbreak sucks. But you gotta take the highs with the lows. You\'ll probably be heartbroken all summer, and that\'s perfectly natural.
Please please don\'t ever call her when you\'re drunk, even though it\'ll sound like a good idea at the time.
If after a few weeks to a month, you are as miserable as you are today, try to get her back maybe once or twice. If that doesn\'t work, then cool it.
You CAN be friends with ex\'s, just not until you\'re over her. Trying to be friends immediately after a breakup just prolongs the recovery process.
