Oddly enough also, Jake has tried out for the role of Superman and Batman . He seems dead set on landing the role of a super-hero. I do not see him as either Superman or Batman, but he would be the perfect Spiderman.

Now, was he horrible in The Day After Tomorrow because of bad writing or because of bad acting or because of both? I definitely don\'t want him near Spider-Man after that film. Horrible.

Bad writing. Ryu, check out \'Donnie Darko\' where Jake is simply brilliant.

If that\'s the only film you\'ve seen him in, then do not judge him yet. The guy is great. I love those characters he\'s created that seem sympathetic, but always a little bit "wrong." There\'s a taint of illness and doom with his characters that feels so real. Like LIC said, see "Donnie Darko" and also "The Good Girl." Pretty awesome.

I had forgot all about \'The Good Girl\'... Another great film . To be honest Ryu, I just went to see \'The Day After Tommorw\' just because Jake was in it, he is usually great.

I went and saw it for the special effects. Too bad the vast majority of them were shown in the trailers.

Before i start..im that guy that sees a lot of films a lot later than everyone else does..then talks about them and has everyone respond "what the f*ck?"

anyway..2 things worth posting. Not going to put spoiler tags since the movies old so.

1) Anyone think that MJ\'s husband is going to be venom? wasnt venom an airforce dude that went to space than got infected? I know someone said the guy from that 70\'s show is going to be him, but the guy in spiderman 2 is built like a guy that would play venom

and 2) I saw someone ask what the ending was about..maybe harry took his dad\'s stuff, became the hob goblin (i dont really know the background of some guys, so i doubt thats how the hob goblin started) then did something that would cause 2 helicopters and what-not?
