You didn\'t hit any nerve, I was having fun.  That\'s what the ":)" was for. :)

Can someone explain to me how they eluded to the lizard in the movie? I understand the goblin, that was obvious, but how does the lizard get eluded to?

They didn\'t allude to him at all, just showed dr connors.  That\'s all really.  But usually, they don\'t show a future villain without some type of cause.  It just seems like the next most likely candidate as people, at least now after the second movie, are somewhat familiar with him.

THanks Ryu.  I heard an interview from Stan Lee and he has nothing to do with the movies at al, but he thinks it\'s Lizard also.

and Lilkub, you can\'t be what you don\'t have.

In another interview, I don\'t know if it was the same one, Stan also said that the Doc Ock arms that they made both digitally and constructed out of steel were far better then he ever imagined.  I think that\'s pretty impressive.

The only complaint I have is I wanted to see more of Kirsten Dunst\'s boobies.

They definalty alluded to The Lizard the not only showed Dr. Connors but made a point to show the side where he had only one arm and that how he become the lizard by trying to replicate the lizard ability to grow appendiges back...

The common fan wouldn\'t know anything about the appendage growth portion of the lizard storyline.  As far as any moviegoer is concerned, he\'s just a one armed professor who thinks Peter is brilliant but lazy. :)

Agreed but who says they made this movie for just the common movie goer. The average movie goer would know Stan Lee from Bruce Lee yet he still does his little cameo in this one and in the first...

Oh man, the movie was worth $10 just so I could view this
thread. Ryu, I love you! *hug* I wish I could copy and paste on these public computers, this\'d be a really long post.

Oh, and decent movie. I didn\'t really care for much of the dialogue (particularly scenes mentioned on pages one and two) but the action sequences with Doc Ock were great. Although, too few, IMO. The laughs were there, but I don\'t think it was as funny as some people make it out to be. Jameson was great, but not as great as the original (Meat!)

I\'d love to see Venom in the third, perhaps they\'ll simplify it, and Jameson\'s son will join with the symbiot after a trip to the mOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOn. Afterall, he does have reason to hate Peter AND Venom is a very popular character.

Oh, and applauding in a cinema is ok by me, but two things; 1) You\'re more likely to do it if you\'re in a group of people who are enjoying the movie as much as you are (ie. enough to applaud) thus, 2) You won\'t be the only weirdo in the crowd cheering and annoying the regular moviegoers. That being said, I\'ve never cheered. But at our local cinema, I believe when Episode 2 was shown for the first time everyone in the cinema cheered merely when the LucasArts subol appeared. God knows how many other times in the movie they would have cheered. It\'s all about the audience you\'re in.

Would it be innapropriate to cheer Jeremy Irons character in Lolita?

bleh see what you miss when no one wants to see spiderman with you the first week it\'s out?

Going to a theater is an experience.  Spielburg put it best when he pointed out he\'d rather be in a theater full of people than his mansion watching a movie when something funny happened on screen.  Crowd interaction helps heighten the experience, this includes clapping.  Shows that we are human and have emotions too, I have no problem with that.  But I will never clap at a flick, maybe just go CRIKEY.

As for the movie, the 2nd is definitely better than the first, not many movies you cna say that to.  Still not satisfied with current CG in some scenes but overall it was pretty good.

PS- I am the only one that thinks Jake Gyllenhaal would have made a better Spiderman??

He\'s taller, also a great actor with really good facial expressions, and is Kirsten\'s real life play thing.
