What I am saying is are you prepared to invade every country that does not have the same belief system as us? Besides dictators have a history of being taken care internally.

This wasn\'t about removing a dictator who tortured his people.  The guy made Iraq a threat to the entire region.

Speaking of which... I would bet money that Israel will deal with Iran and their nuclear program.  You better believe that if Iran develops a nuke the first thing they will do is use it on Israel.

North Korea is a threat why don\'t we invade them with that thought process?

No doubt Israel will take care of it\'s own. In middle eastern fashion. Violent

Why do some think that every situation needs to be handled the same way?  GWB named 3 countries in the "Axis of Evil" - Iraq, Iran and N. Korea - seems to me like he was right.  Iraq was the most vulnerable so they were dealt with first.  My prediction is Iran is next, but like I said the same tactics will most likely not be used.  I like the keep em guessing approach personally.

IMHO N. Korea is off limits because of China. China would not appreciate the US invading so close to it\'s borders. In a way it would be akin to the cuban missle crisis only in reverse. It is probably a safe bet if GW gets the chance to invade IRAN he will. After all it is a small country the US can invade without the fears of them lobbing nukes over at us.

Then again if you follow your reasoning a bit further. Why should we not invade Saudi Arabia? A great deal of money has been and is being funneled from there for terrorism.

Nukes = #1 deterrent from an invasion

And N. Korea has them.

Not kept up with N. Korea the way one should, but if memory serves me right. They do not have any nukes that can reach us. It is short range rockets. Besides it seems as if having nukes would make them more of a security risk. Would it not make sense to take care of them first since they are still newbies to the nuke club? Before they have time to stockpile enough nukes to destroy the world many times over. The real reason is probably China which could hit us.

Essentially what I am trying to say is Bush is playing a bully. Given the chance he could very likely be as bad as anything that is over there.

In his presidency the US has given up so many rights in the name of national security this country is not the same. Should there be increased security. Of course! Should we become a country that monitors it\'s own citizens and infringes on civil liberties that as a nation advocate in speach? My guess would be no.

The US will not invade Iran.  Our military is already stretched to its maximum capacity and with our current resources we could not successfully occupy Iran.  And in reply to your attempt to grasp my reasoning... I didn\'t mention terrorists or terrorism - I mentioned Bush\'s Axis of Evil which is not entirely composed of terrorists.

I would rather see Bush on trial for his many lies that in the end have equaled American deaths, instead of Saddam, who was running his country. Then again, I would rather them let Saddam lose and take reign of his country again.

We will. We already have troops stationed in S. Korea just incase. Besides, last I heard, N. Korea was willing to bargain a bit with us (doubt it will work). They are opening up more to us. Besides, we may be big bad America but we can\'t fight two major wars at once.  A lot of our military force is in Iraq. We won\'t be able to afford financially and militarily two wars. When we finish with Iraq, we go to N. Korea. I think we should have delt with N. Korea first. They admit they have a nuke. They really have no means to deliver it though. They are a thread with a nuke but not as great as people think. When they get a long range bomber that is able to slip by (the Soviet Bears I\'m sure they have will be shot down immediately. That turboprop long range bomber isn\'t THAT fast).
