lol what a wacko, that woman is seriously disturbed unless you were waving a machete around.  That is screwed up no doubt about it.

While on the subject my friend was pulled over by a couple of cop cars on a busy road, told to step out of his vehicle hands on his head, lay face down on the pavement while they cuffed him.  More cop cars showed up.  Turns out he fit the description of a bank robber that had just made his getaway.

i know it was a simple mistake but i just have to ask what mechanic can install an African American clutch? :P

Q I\'ve seen that happen many times at work.

In fact a couple of days ago a white lady came into our store and was looking for a new camcorder(I work the PC and Camcorder section) so I was helping her out. But before that I had helped a customer(a black teenage guy) with another camcorder and he had bought it and everything.

The guy opened up in the store and was recording his friends. She turned to me and said "OMG, why don\'t you call the cops they probably stole that camara" And  I said that I didn\'t think they did. Then the black kids were picking out movies and putting them under their arms you know and SHE CALLED THE COPS. She went to the side of the store and CALLED THE COPS, I was like WTH ARE YOU DOING?! The people were just picking out movies and before the cops came they bought them all.

The cops came and you know just got them all in a corner and started checking them and asking them questions and it was sad b/c they were mad at the fact that they didn\'t know wth was going on. And finally the cops asked the manager why they called them and he said that noboby in the store called them.

So I looked for the lady to tell the cops who she was but she was gone.

I hope you\'re not blaming the cops on your\'s and Quddus\' stories...

What store was this?  Circuit City?  If I were your boss I would have written you up for using profanity at a customer

I am working this morning at my store, Meijer  (kind of like Walmart) as a cashier when I have a black guest in my line.  We had some special with campbell\'s soup for $.44 and we were all out, so the guest asked for a raincheck.  I said, sure let me go find one for you.  I come back and I write up the raincheck for her and tell her to have a nice day.  Then next guest in line was an alderly white women (70-80) and says to me "what a dumb (you know)" then I told her not to ever bring racism or that word into my line again.  She got offended by my comments and she went up to my manager with me.  My manager is behind this door on a computer and she is like, " I will be with you in one second ma\'am" and the guest is like, look all I want is to have a good day of shopping and not be hastled by your stupid cashiers or your dumb (you know) that come in line!  My manager yells out "EXCUSE ME!" and walks around the corner of the office.  The guests face went white as she noticed my manager was black.  My manager is like... get the hell out of my store now!  I never seen a old lady move so fast

I worked at blockbuster, and any time anybody came up to the store banging on to get in and what not, I don\'t know if you did that but it happened, white black or what ever it worried you.

A middle class white person has more in common with a middle class minority than they do with a lower/upper class person of the same race. Here in america we are just so caught up in race that we fail to see that.

As far as Native Americans go: Where are they all now? Damn near wiped out, and for what? Some whiteman manifest destiny bull$#!t thats what. heh. Just f\'ing around.

 Perhaps somebody should make a new thread. Sharpton has been out of the conversation for quite a few posts.

It isn\'t so much Native Americans have been wiped out as they have been bred into caucasian and other races.  Basically they are being bred out of existance.  The few tribes that are remaining don\'t have it so bad off - they own casinos and aren\'t even taxed!  That is a big controversy in areas that have casinos on reservations.  

Anyway, Nicon is right, this topic is going to be closed as is no longer about Sharpton.  I would split the thead and move it a Race Relations thread, but the last time I used the split feature the posts ended up in limbo land where only Ryu and mm could see them.  We can carry this discussion on under another topic.
