From that, I can gather that it is the OPENGL driver - but I can\'t seem to find the newest version for my 9600XT . Everytime I load DOOM 3 that is the error I get.

Nevermind. Found the 4.6 drivers. Now I can\'t get past the loading screen. God this game is buggy. The DOOM forums is nothing but people trying to find work around\'s for the bugs.

Edit: Finally got it runnin\' and let me say this.. God damn this is a gorgeous game and I have to agree with MM, this is one of the most atmospheric games ever. This is the only game besides the original Resident Evil to actually make me nervous while playing it. Kudos to ID.

Edit - How many of you played this on an ATI card and what was your quality?
