Here\'s some advice....if the waters on the beach suddenly recede by at least 60 to 100 meters, get to high ground as soon as possible.

It\'s like the ocean is pulling back so it can pound you with a huge tsunami.

I bet they know that now.. But you must remember Tsunamis are very rare in that area.

Over 28 000 dead is the number I have heard now.

They have started burning bodies on the beaches of Phuket.

Is there any way to predict tidal waves like that? I know you cant predict earthquakes so I guess not.
