i don\'t mind people applauding when a movie is over.  i see it alot at the independant cinemas where a film actually means something  and you don\'t just watch shit blow up for two hours.

A few middle school kids were saying stupid shit during all of the quiet parts of The Count of Monte Cristo. Me and my buddies told them to shut up and they refused. They continued to yell and scream and laugh and make 3rd grade potty jokes during the serious parts of the movie. So me and another friend [he\'s 6\'5"] went over to their chairs, got up in their face and yelled [size=18]STFU...NOW![/size] And then, for some crazy reason...they stopped. Other people in the theater seemed happy about it once they stopped making noise.

I remember when I was like 8 and I saw Batman Forever with my grandpa... These ladies behind us kept talking, and my grandpa turns around and says, "Can you birds quit your chirpin?"

I actually went and complained to the manager and he offered me free tickets but I have no desire to ever return to that cineplex ever again.

Oddly enough, this exact thing happened to me this weekend. I
was in Toronto for the night, so Kyoko wanted to see The Curse.
So these two complete ni**ers sit next to us, with like 8 others behind them, all stoned to the bejesus-bells. Those fuckers laughed hysterically at everything anyone said in the movie and they were talking to each other across rows and shit, talking on their cellphones. So, 15 minutes in, we just left, and the two mokeys had to get up so we could leave, and the 1st one said something to me like "oh it\'s like dat, huh?" and the second one on the outside intentionally tripped Kyoko, and the whole monkey gallery started whooping it up like chimps at feeding time. So I got in the dudes face after Kyoko called him a f*cking asshole, and the whole posse started up, so we got out of there. Not to be a racist, but goddamn, those guys were stereotypical thug-ass wannabe gangsters. I feel bad for black poeple who are actually polite and trying to be productive in society, \'cos those fuckers are keeping them down, not "the man"....

I saw Oceans 12 with a group of friends and there was this bitch next to me who kept talking on her cell phone. I wanted to take the cell phone break it and throw the pieces back in her face. I go to a movie to be entertained, not listen to what you are gonna pick up after the movie or what your kids want. OMG, STFU.

I was going off the fact that the distinction between black people and ni**ers was already made in this thread. I hate to pull the "I\'ve got a lot of black friends" thing, but I do. I have a studio, and produce hip-hop tracks for some local guys. They\'re real cool people, and would NEVER act like those assholes did. They all have jobs, and they would never come back later to rob my studio. I could never imagine those cats acting like monkeys.

And let me qualify that, too. These pricks were actually jumping up and down in the theatre hooting, grunting and waving their arms around. No f*cking joke here. I was shocked, I thought "don\'t they know what they look like?"

So I do sincerely apologize to anyone I offended, but that\'s how I saw it. I wasn\'t calling any of the people here those things, and I never would. Even though we may have different ideas, I respect everyone here. I guess I just get tired of having shitty stuff happen to me caused by people like that.
     Where I live is a nice neighborhood in the city. My apartment complex is expensive, so it\'s full of young doctors. Most of them work at the hospital on the "east side". Every week 4-5 cars get broken into for pocket change, and if they can\'t find any, they just litter our lot with whatever\'s in the car. We have it all on tape. Guess who? Yup. People just like the ones in the theatre. And when they end up shooting each other, who patches \'em up at taxpayer\'s expense? The doctors they stole from. Every crime ever comiited against me has been by people like that. 3 cars broken into, an apartment broken into in broad daylight, and 1 mugging. How am I supposed to feel?
     I\'m not a "priveleged white kid" either. I grew up poor, on food stamps, no college, (couldn\'t afford it, and no financial aid, \'cos I\'m white. Thanks, affirmative action!) and I worked my way to where I am today, starting out cleaning toilets & ovens in apartments that my company owns. Now I\'m doing well, and I\'m sick of having my shit ruined by people like that.
