That post pretty much sums up my view of the current climate in Europe. ;)

Who is this anamoly we call Jumpman? How is he able to do what he does and still survive after years of torment? It seems he feeds on the hate, growing with an intense passion to put unassuming members in their place.

And so many dumbass Europeans like to label all Americans as warmonger, redneck idiots...
July 2002: If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. Enron, $16.50 left. Worldcom, $5.00 left. If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser beer one year ago, drank it all and turned in the cans for the 10 cent deposit, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

So far I have seen NO SINGLE valid reason as to why Americans should not like European ppl. They\'re allies for ff-ing sake.

Looks to me like those guys in that thread just wanna grow to a USA vs Europe standoff for reasons of pure frustration which root in domestic problems anyway.

They grow overgrown hate over a overblown newsreport of a few leftwinged anctivists who just say their thing to Bush.

They\'ve got every right to voice that. It\'s democracy remember ?

Europe is basically the size of the eastern half of the USA. Now imagine if New York, Ohio, South Carolina, and all the rest all spoke a different language and went to war with and hated each other on a revolving basis over the last 2000 years. No wonder they\'re ungrateful. (notice I didn\'t say Massachustesesessses. They DO speak a different language. ;))

it seems both sides was poppin\' s**t about one another...it\'s not much different than what rumsfield stated something about europe being the "old" europe or whatever...only thing that i didn\'t like about what americans was doin over here was that they were changin the name french fries to freedom fries ..and nyc actually made ny residents dispose of the liscense plates that had the statue of liberty on them..pathetic...

all because france wasn\'t down with goin to war...

You wouldn\'t believe how many idiot Europeans are out there bitching on the Internet about how Americans are retards because Hollywood likes to remake many foreign films...

1) Not every American decided to remake that film

2) The film being remade usually isn\'t even European, but rather, Asian

3) Why aren\'t they bitching at the person(s) most responsible for this "injustice", the original director/company that owns the film?

I guess they\'re complaining because Americans are fat bastards who won\'t watch foreign movies! :p

Nah I see your point. People should complain about the studios who do the remakes - in a way they\'re insulting the American moviegoers.

Guess what?

The American version of The Ring made more money IN JAPAN than the original Ringu...

Whose fault is it now that so many movies get remade?

Yeah, so it made what, 2 million dollars?

But truthfully, the remakes are done to maximize profits - what do you think would sell better in the biggest Hollywood market - Ringu or The Ring with American stars? Don\'t get me wrong, I don\'t think The Ring was terrible. But I do find the original version superior. Also remakes lose that special touch that originals have.

The point is...

A remake was so well received so of course, more remakes are inevitable...

Can\'t blame Americans for their success in the International market...
