I see what you\'re saying, but they will have one pissed off kid. Besides, they can just go get a Gamecube and Mario DDR or something archaic like that for Christmas. I see both the PS3 and X360 to appeal to the 15-29 crowd. You know, that one\'s that probably have jobs.

If thats how the game will look with raytracing and all it would be great....graphically speaking

But I havent seen a real playable next gen title featuring anything revolutionary, new, or fresh in terms of gameplay.Now I may be wrong since I havent playied any of them but reading previws its like the previous generation only better looking.

I hope gameplay nearing atleast something similar to what the Killzone "tech" demo presented will appear later after developers get used to the technology.


So far the only game taking my attention as a real playable next gen game is Gears of War.

it\'s funny browsing the teamxbox forums how up in arms most everyone is over there over the whole pricing scheme.

But they are taking solice in the hopes that the ps3 comes out at $499

i think they are more up in arms over two versions

This doesn\'t cripple developers.  This allows them to meet the standard and give a few extras for those with a HD.  It is, and always has been, their decision on whether or not they would take advantage of the HD anyway.

perhaps you missed this

every dev for every xbox game is going to have to say "wait, we can\'t do that cause some jackass with the core version might not have a hard drive. do we put this content in still? how behind on schedule are we?"

But the core game will be available to EVERYONE.  Those with the HD will get extras if the developer chooses to include such things.  This doesn\'t cripple the developer.

I might get a cheap one when PS3 is released.
