for those of you who don\'t check the site regularly we can expect a may release.

Is anyone else as excited as me? If its even half-as good as Lateralus, we can expect an amazing album :D

yeah I\'ve been following all the "news" of the album that\'s been out, really been looking forward to it. Kind of interested what if any involvement Josh Homme had with the album.

Good. A Perfect Circle started to bring out too many albums to keep up with, and Tool is better anyway.

They are gonna start touring soon and it looks like they will play at all the main festivals in Europe.

They\'re gonna play at the Pinkpop festival in Holland so I"ll buy my ticket for that as soon as it becomes available.

Tool is the main reason I\'m going so every big band that gets added to the list is just icing on the cake.

Only 5 or 6 names are already established for Pinkpop so a lot more big bands are probably coming.

I hope Tool won\'t play many new songs because I need to get used to the songs before I can fully appreciate them(kinda like Radiohead).

Whenever a new Tool record is released I usually lock myself in my room for 3 days and then come out wiser, more thankfull and spiritually recharged.

Listening to Tool is not a mere "passing time" for me.

It\'s a cultural,social,spiritual and deeply moving event.

Nuff said.

They released 3 albums. 2 origional recordings, and a collection of cover songs.

Not exactly too many, but whatever...

Not even same genre.
What\'s your point?

And there was a lenghty gap in bewteen Mer De Noms and 13th Step. It wasn\'t until aMotion and eMotive, that they rushed them out and one could hardly say aMotion was rushed as it was just a collection of remixes.

Get your facts before you post.
They released four albums.

Mer De Noms, Thirthteen Step, aMotion and eMotive.
That\'s four.

A Motion was a remix disc, not done by any APC member, and not very good.

it was almost like the label said "hey, sales of emotive suck, lets remix some songs from thirteenth step and release it!"

Minus the fact they was planned at the same time and only released two weeks apart. The most accepted rumor is the fact that APC released aMotion to get out of their contract with Virgin. It did suck tho\', the only reason I even own it is because my fiance bought it for me along with the DVD of videos.

Defintion of album.

Quote
Full length CD, LP, or cassette. Usually 5 or more tracks.

aMotion still falls into that catergory.
