I particularily liked this reply to the artice:

Quote
"Barding". Well, ooh la di da, Mr. French Man. And it\'s not a "garage", it\'s a "car hole"

People will be ripped off as long as the allow themselves to be.  Of course MS or any other company is going to charge whatever they can for anything they can as long as people are willing to pay for it.  Unfortunately for the \'reply with your wallet\' movements, there\'s a lot of idiots out there with more money than brains who sustain such pricing paradigms.

You do realize PC people will be paying for the mods too right?

Official mods yes, user-created mods no.

We have the console online expurrience to thank for that. :\\

lol, like any PC user can\'t browse out to megagames or any mod site and freely get them

the titled isn\'t crippled on the PC version

Title isn\'t crippled on the 360 version.  I don\'t see how the gameplay is limited by the lack of modding.  The PC version can merely be enhanced.  (ooo the magic of wording)

Imo, it\'s one thing to pay for a graphical mod in an online game, but for a single player game where you\'ll get tired of the same outfit after a week, that\'s sort of a sham.

^^^^^^^
Yet people will continue to buy them (PC or 360).

I believe I read somewhere that they are coming out with expansions of entire worlds. Something like that might warrant a purchase, but it sounds like in the end, bestheda just wants to cash in a little on a modding community that they know exists.

i\'d be shocked if more than four-six PC users actually pay for the mod instead of just downloading it for free from a community site (which is never an option with the 360 version)

there\'s dozens and dozens of mods for the PC version which already completely change the landscape/environment and the game has been out for how many weeks?

how many xbox gamers actually paid for counterstrike when it was released?

you have to pay for mods on the 360? lol..that sucks.

Do you have to pay for all the downloads? because i heard they had demos and things for download, not just mods.

I guarantee there are some morons in the PC market buying this so that they can be the \'31337 d00d5\' on the official game servers.  Goddamn I hate morons so much (and I\'m currently actively investing this hate into fictional/possible/probably idiot strangers).

\'31337 d00d5\' on the unofficial fansites picture section?

Oh and mm, the xbox userbase buying counterstrike has nothing to do with oblivions playability that you say is so crippled by being on a console.  Stay on topic.  Thanks.
