From my mac, and last time I checked a 360 is going to be cheaper than a PC that can run games at the equivalent graphics.

For a year, lol. Cept you have to upgrade you\'re PC once the games get better..obviously the downside of PC\'s.

*sigh*

My mac can do everything I need it to do EXCEPT play games.  Why spend all the cash for a pc when I can get a console for cheaper and still play my games?  And whats this jibberish about pc games only at 1280X720 business.  All I said was that the cost of a pc that would be able to do gaming at the equivalent of the 360 would exceed the cost of a 360.

and i\'m saying you\'re wrong.

think a 400$ pc can\'t do what the 360 can?

price your HDTV to achieve that 720P video first (otherwise you\'re playing at standard TV resolution), and we\'ll start adding costs after that.

well, XBOX360 is more mainly a game console, while a PC is more multi-function....

but I do think XBOX360 is more powerful than a $400 PC right now.  XBOX360 runs at 3.2 GHz speed with 512 MBytes of Unified RAM with 10 MBytes of Embedded RAM with a 40 Gbytes HDD for $400.

If you bought a PC with motherboard that support 3.2 GHz speed, and a 3.2 GHZ CPU, with a 256 Mbytes Video Card, and another 256 Mbytes of main RAM, I believe it will cost more than XBOX360.  Either way, a 3.2 GHz CPU for PC is different than a 3.2 GHZ for Video game console.  Both are design differently for different reasons.  One was design mainly for games while the other are more multi-function...

Hee hee, thought I\'d fan the flames some.

PC buyers now get a coupon when they buy so the download is free.  360 are SOL.  It\'s only 2 bucks, but still :p

Having a blast with Oblivion on X360.   I went out and bought the horse armor for 200 pts ($2.50).  :D

More downloads on the way!

The post also makes mention of the upcoming downloadable content, The Orrery and The Wizards Tower. Unlike the Horse Armor update earlier this week, The Orrery will add a new quest, rewards and powers for your character. Bethesda is hoping to release it next week for a cost of 150 Microsoft Points ($1.88) on the Xbox 360 Marketplace, and $1.89 for PC.
