Always thought the 4d4 was a play on words forcing you to literally say "forty-four."

Turns out you were just typing like Titan that day.

I say don\'t take the job unless it pays at least over 40k a year. I had a job that paid me pretty good. I had an hour commute to work. You have to take into account the traffic and your work commute could be well over an hour to and from work.

It will drain you so much. Maybe because I attend college and work. But having to driver an hour or more to get home sucks.

Yes the commute can stink at times , however i did like it because it gave me a chance to unwind. I listened to some of my favorite music. Bottom line is i was not in a bad mood when i got home.

Wow, I imagine most people here live in a huge city, considering their daily commutes...

Does anyone here have to travel out of state to work? I guess alot of people on the east coast do this, is that true?

5-10 minutes to get anywhere in this town. :)

When I was taking a connecting flight from Boston to New York City a guy sitting next to me was taking his daily flight.  He was like, yea, I fly to work in boston every morning and fly back to New York City every night.

Work for me is about 40 some odd miles there and back.  Class is also about 40 there and back.

There are local airports near my house and across the street from my job. I want a small plane. Would totally streamline my commute...

y,know when i used to live in jersey, gettin ready for work i would turn on the tv to the local traffic & weather channel and would almost always hear.."2 hour delay into the holland tunnel, 2 1/2 hour delay on the gwb, 1 1/2 delay into the lincoln tunnel"...i used to tell the wifey that there would be no way i could drive to N.Y. for work...the traffic to and from the city was just ridiculous...i\'d have to take mass transit and the money would definitely have to be worth it...still i knew people who drove from PA to N.Y. on a daily basis......crazy...

40 miles one way... 80 miles round trip

worth every penny considering the cost of my house was easily 40K cheaper moving an extra 10 minutes north. Not to mention how much traffic I avoid.

If I was to live within 30 miles of my work the cost of a house increase anywhere from 20K to 100K. 10 miles difference is huge out here.
