Punch-Out is a stationary game and the remote can therefor take the formula of the original, register right and left jabs and body blows and uppercuts, as well as any other type of punch - even a backhand.

By bringing up both arms to block and moving them to make Lil Mac dodge, you\'d be real time boxing against Bald Bull, etc.

There was a cool arcade game in the same vein, but this could go all the way and include the cool characters and time-based reactions.

Knocking out Tyson was so satisfying, but actually making him fall to real life punches... that\'d be a real adrenaline rush.

If, ya know, you like to have fun when you play games. If not, I\'m sure there\'s hi-def CGI you could watch somewhere else. ;]

Sony better start praying as you can now buy a Xbox 360, Wii and a couple of games for that price. I think it is now getting out of hand... oh, and just to make you all feel a tad bit better... in South Africa we get charged import taxes and the dudes that distribute it here (yep, Sony doesn\'t) ad their little profit as well so we are probably looking at about $1000. We paid $700 for the PS2 at launch. Count yourselves lucky ;-)

First...Thing..I agree with during this whole PS3 debacle.

There should be ONE set standard, nothing more. I\'ve read articles on Sony (and MS) wanting to make upgrade models and what not, it\'s bullshit. A system should have one set price point, one set of hardware and that is it. Anything else is complete bullshit. Infact, I\'d have more respect for both Sony and MS if they would of just done away with the "Core" non-sense...Then again, I want pack-in games back!

I agree, it would have been better if Sony just sell only the $600 version in America and be done with.

Wait, doesn\'t the wii remote have an analog stick on it? Shit, I forget what it looks like. If it does, you can tilt the controller and use the analog stick. Well it would be different. When I played Katamari, it was tough for a while with the two analog sticks.

some real time pictures maybe near CG quality when compare to CG rendered pictures, but those realtime pictures look CG quality and better when compare to CG rendered video that were rendered around 8 years ago like FFVII CG rendered video clips.

I think it looks as good as FFVIII FMV

Either way, the hero doesnt lose much quality from FMV to realtime, which is a good step forward. The untrained eye couldnt tell the difference.

Oh and Unicron, by the time FFXIII is released you could probably get the highend PS3 for at most $500 and the core version would be $400. I see FFXIII being released summer/fall 2008 in the US

last i heard, FFXIII will be release earlier than that, as early as 2007.
