Only 2 weeks to go now, it\'s about time someone made a world cup thread.
 
My early prediction:
 
Brazil to win, possible dark horses are netherlands and spain.
 
England might (slim shot with the players at hand) get to the semis\'s, but no further. Germany, again semi\'s, france will be lucky to get even that far.
 
If I was a betting man, I\'d put a couple of quid on the yanks getting ko\'d at the group stages

i dont pay any attention to soccer though. cept ESPN had a segment on the michael jordan of soccer (the guy from brazil), so ill predict them to win.

Spain is not even pass the first round. They\'re pathetic. They always are. And if they arent referees will make their job.

It\'s good to have digital tv to watch the whole world cup and other 400 channels.

Well, it all kicks offf today, Germany play Costa Rica, then Poland play Equador.
 
 
My prediction is:
 
Germany 4-0 Costa Rica
Poland 3-0 Equador
 
Can\'t wait for England\'s game tomorrow.
