Grand Theft Auto\'s popularity is the worst thing to ever happen to videogames.  Take a look at yourself.  Anyone who plays such games enjoys the game entertainment Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris do.

I\'m not going to lie.  When I played Grand Theft Auto I liked it.  But,  I had the maturity and selfcontrol to return it to the video store after 3 days and never touch it again for years now because I realized there was something very sick about taking pleasure in killing people,  even if is just the simulation of death and not the real thing.

Get of the your high horse. If you can\'t discern from a game to reality then you shouldn\'t be playing games period.  When i play a game like gta, i don\'t sit there thinking man i\'d love to do this in the streets. I\'ve yet to see any of my other mates turn around and go crazy and shoot people.    It all comes down to the people, not the games. Any level headed adult would understand this. The unleveled headed ones are what you gotta worry about.

Are you talking to me? Because GTA is one of the last games I d ever get because its nothing but mindless killing.
There is no soul, no art, no creativity in this game and I share the same opinion in some things you said.

But this "somebody shoot him" thing is more his fault than the games themselves

Although I dont like GTA and I would have prefered it to not exist I dislike people in general who are trying to make such a big fuss out of anything just to gain popularity, clients and fame by upsetting ignorant parents.

If he wants something to be banned it should be violent movies.
