The DS does rock, it rocks hard .
My Hi-Def movie collection (much smaller than the SD one).

Just saw this thread and some of the Wii games clowd listed are actually VC games. (Punchout, F-Zero) For the record.

Speaking of Wii, RE4 is awesome. Best game for this lil console yet. The only game worth buying (Wii Sports is free :p )

It would have been more preferable if they made a new resi or Umbrella Chronicles game with the same control lay out. I was going to buy a Wii for the latter until I found out it is a shooter on rails.

Just casually looking at the PS3\'s game list (as posted by clowd in the OP) I can say that the majority of them are ports and sports games.

The Wii hasn\'t had a flood of AAA games either.

With your 360 and Wii collecting dust all those AAA titles from the PS3 must be getting so much attention.....

Wow this thread is a bit of a flame bait isn\'t it.

Yes, it\'s true that the PS3 only has a few games that differentiate it from the 360, but that\'ll change well enough in the fall. Sure it won\'t have as many games as Microsoft\'s console, but I\'m content with what it offers at the time being.

At least your PS3 won\'t break down every second month.

BTW, serious question: Is the Wii novelty wearing off? Or is it still enjoyable? I heard some people talk about how there aren\'t really any great games for it right now. And even though I haven\'t looked real hard, it also seems to be the case to me.

i\'m not really sure what the status of gaming is with the wii, but i\'m sure that wand novelty was good for about a good month then that\'s it...add to the fact that the graphics on that thing is just slightly better than the gamecube, i think we\'ll see the wii quietly drop back into 3rd place once the AAA games from sony and the steady flow of 360 AAA games begin to make their mark.
knowledge, wisdom & understanding..these are the basic fundamentals of life

if you can\'t amaze them with brilliance, baffle them with bullsh*t....

I don\'t own a Wii, as I see no reason to yet, but I truly doubt we see it taking a backseat. The price is affordable and it attracts the non-gamers. Everyone I know wants a Wii, and while the novelty factor may wear off to the so called "hardcore" crowd, I think the casual user will still find enjoyment with the casual games.

Funny, I can say the same about my Gamecube.

Well enjoyment is a very broad definition. Perhaps it would have been easier if we defined types of enjoyment people seek.

Personally and based on what I observed in here most likely most of us might not find it\'s current list enjoyable under our terms but the kind of people who still buy them might because they are seeking for a different kind of "enjoyment" and lastability.

It is also very cheap and attractive to young gamers. Kids should be a huge part of people who play games. 360 and especially PS3 is a no no for parents and there are many who get excited by the prospect of the motion sensor controllers alone.

The PC version then huh?

;)

Oh, and the Wii has Metroid Prime: Corruption this month. Seems like the good stuff are finally coming.
