Hey has anyone who has this game figured out a decent way to make the sound of you actually hitting the drums less noticable?

I find I have to turn the volume up on the TV to retarted levels or else all I can hear is

TOK TOK TOK TOK TOK TOK TOK TOK TOK TOK TOK TOK TOK TOK TOK TOK

Whenever I hit the drums.

I read that one dude cut out some flooring cork and tried that. But I don\'t have any of that stuff. Wondering if anyone here had any ideas.

Edit: Nevermind. I found a forum with some people who bought 3 dollar circular mousepads from staples and trimmed them a bit and put those on the drum pads and it seems like it works.

have a similar problem, my neighbor below me can hear the foot pedal. Guy is a piece of shit, he\'d go as far as try to get me evicted over something like that, so I\'m not going to bother trying to reason with him.

Wow. Yeah that is a piece of shit neighbour. I haven\'t had much issue witht he footpedal so far. Just the pads.

I taped up the sticks with hockey tape, its dampened the sound enough that it no longer bothers me. I guess I need to be lighter on the pedal, or kill my neighbor.

Can you rest the pedal on a one inch thick block of foam or something? I\'m not familiar with the setup, so I dunno if that\'d help at all...

It might work. I left rockband in Ohio when I moved at to LA for my internship so I haven\'t bothered with it. When I move back I might try a few different things to see how much I can reduce the sound. Problem is, the only way I can tell if its working or not is if he comes up to bitch again.

When I graduate from UC, that is a good possibility. Until then however, I have to deal with my neighbor 6 months out of the year.

How the fuck can he hear that? I didn\'t think the pedal was that loud and I hit it hard as a mother.
