well, there\'s a one click solution to jailbreaking the iPhone so it works with every carrier. And the Maddox rant is outdated, all those problems besides not having buttons and 3G have been fixed through software updates and jailbreaked programs. The sdk is going to change all this even more.

screw the new iphone.. the battery life is pathetic (in 3g mode).  I guess that\'s not such a big deal because unless you live in a rather large city, chances are you won\'t get 3g service anyway.

and sure the phone is cheaper, but at&t raised the data package costs so it will actually cost several hundred more than before after 2 years.

I really wanted to get an iphone, but now... bleh.. not worth it

Just because it\'s the thinnest phone Verizon offers.  Also happens to be the most expensive non-smart phone there too ;P

LG voyager, I don\'t really use the any of the features on it that much though, I just tether it to my laptop.  Kinda wish that I got a cheaper "tetherable" phone instead.
