You know I\'m a Christian and that I believe in Evolution. Heck....even the Catholic Church has acknowledged that Evolution is likely true.

hard for me to believe that..i\'ve only run into one person that didnt believe in evolution (that i knew personally..not some random person i met on a street corner..so that\'s probably why)..oddly enough he\'s insanely smart and a huge animal person

Where do you live? Here in Danville, Kentucky, I\'ve only met maybe three people who actually believe in evolution. The rest think evolution is just some silly notion that people use to down play God.

btw personally I would have been in the yellow part. Not because of anything said in the bible or anything religious, but because I ve read about a few things that make some scientists ponder (such as the missing link of the human evolution), and about some "strange" archaeological findings.

There is probably a significant difference between what people will tell you they believe, and how they would answer this question on an anonymous survey.  I think many creationists know they would be ridiculed if they spoke about it openly.
 
Also, the question is somewhat poorly worded.  I would not have used the word "animal."  I\'m sure that had an undue influnce on some responses.  Also note that according to his answer to the question, we have a creationist in this thread:  ##RaCeR##.

I find that survey to be a bit off. Though, if you polled the South where the fundies live, I can see that making sense. Its hard to go by a survey like that because there are so many variables in some nations. If you polled my college, I bet there would have been a higher percentage of people believing in evolution.
