of course everyone hates commercials but once in awhile you get one that you don\'t mind seeing

This new burger king commercials always makes me laugh. I don\'t know why, just the look on the guys face when the other dude says "What if I hold it for you?" makes me crack up.

What are some of your favs?

Haha. Burger Kings commercials have been great lately. I like the Whopper freakout commercials. Its funny seeing how much people freakout because they can\'t get a Whopper. I would too. The best one that I liked was when they gave the guy a Big Mac. This is from their website:

The Budweiser commercials I\'ve always liked. My favorite Bud commercial I can\'t find. Its a long one that\'s broken up. They only played it once. He\'s at a wedding and just makes it very awkward. Everyone he talks to he says something to make the entire wedding more and more awkward. Here\'s just a couple of my favorite Bud commercials.

I forgot about the man law commercials. I thought they were funny but they still don\'t compare to the Bud commercials.

These ads for the Sony Bravia I thought were pretty cool. The making of video for the paint one was also interesting. I thought it was all CGI.

I thought what a waste of marketing for LCD type TV. But sure, business is business. Its just not worth it for LCD type in my opinion as they have the crappiest picture quality than any other type of display. But fancy advertisement does makes you think otherwise.

i heard DLP is the worst. and i could never stand a plasma tv unless i had some media room with no windows.

not sure what LCD tv\'s your looking at that look "crappy"

to each their own. LCD contrast ratio is still very low, viewing angle is still so-so at best, and also motion blur from mediocre pixel response time.

Maybe if I show you side by side comparison between the best LCD and the best plasma in a control room lighting. You will notice how much better looking the plasma set is.

the best LCD have a true contrast ratio of around 2,000:1 while the best plasma have over 10,000:1.

Also, if you have a 50" LCD in the living room, your viewing angle will be limited and your family won\'t enjoy it much as they sit on different angles from the tv. to have optimal picture quality means you have to sit right in front of the screen, otherwise you get crappier picture with lesser contrast ratio than it already is...plasma don\'t have that problems...
