This is bad comedy fo sho\'....weren\'t you the one that stated not too long ago that if Colin Powell was going for the presidency you\'d vote for him?......yep, this is a critical blow indeed, why? cause if Powell supported McCain it would be no big deal since he\'s a republican, but since he\'s one of top distinguished republicans supporting Obama, you guys are ready to scream the race card...i love it!!...:D

And you even go a step further to criticize him at the u.n....if that\'s the case then you must not support this travesty of a war in iraq that we\'re in, but i recall you even supporting that....are you flip flopping on that issue too?

And Obama has control over these people?...and before you say anything in relation to those idiots at McCain rallys, Obama has never tied McCain to terrorists, or tried to challenge his patriotism and say that you can\'t trust him...McCain in that sense has incited his supporters with such rhetoric, and they are strongly voicing their opinions and responding to what is being said of Obama at those rallys, no matter how incredibily ignorant they are.

If Obama has said some hateful and some inciteful statements then yeah,..but he has only attacked McCain on the issues, so you cannot blame him for anything that somebody might do on their own.....and look at your last statement,..see Obama was right,..you conservatives DO stick to your guns...:D

Yes, I would have had no problem voting for Powell if he was on the Republican ticket.  That isn\'t the point.  The point is he is endorsing Obama based on race.

Obama has never tied McCain to terrorist, because there is no tie!!!!

As for you gun comment, what kind of bitch uses a .22?  Obama supporters?  Can\'t even handle a real weapon.

Yes there are some that are voting cause he\'s black, but most blacks aren\'t...Obama is a smart, savy intelligent guy and he already showed that he can go neck and neck with McCain on foreign policy issues and he speaks with strong conviction and he also has a likability factor,...

Obama is smart...

Think Powell would have endorsed Hillary?  Not a chance.

Yep he is smart,..smarter than you and me,..and definitely smarter than Palin....Hillary isn\'t the nominee so that doesn\'t apply,...you chose to believe he supported Obama because of his skin, yet you refuse to accept his reasons why....what\'s the point if your mind already is made up?....riiight..there is no point.

Speak for yourself.  Most people are smarter than you.  Being smarter than Palin?  I am not so sure about that.  Book smart and wise do not go hand in hand.

Powell\'s reasons are hollow and empty.  They offer no real reason other than "I gotta say something before they link that I am supporting him based on race".

For the record, Al Sharpton was never on either major party\'s ticket, so your theory just flew out the window.

I don\'t see a problem with a group of people sticking together that usually does not. It\'s almost refreshing in certain aspects. Blacks only stuck together long enough to be free and have been fighting amongst themselves since the 70\'s.

However, I do not think that color is the correct reason to cast a vote. It goes both ways though, but Im sure you already know that.

How can you even claim that Powell is supporting Obama based on race?

O yea......I forgot you were a mind reader b/c you always seem to put words in the mouths of myself and others.  Keep reaching.

How predictable... i knew you would say that...i was being sarcastic because of the comment you made of Palin being smarter anybody on this forum....and i\'m not gonna entertain the smarter than you comment....i don\'t mind that some are smarter or more knowledgeable than me in some area\'s....but i have alot more common sense than most....and i\'ll take that over bein einstein any day.

Say what you will of Powell, the fact remains that he is a strong distinguished leader in the republican party and support for the democratic nominee is almost a slap in the face to McCain, but that is what happens when your campaign is giving a different message every week...now McCain is calling Obama a socialist...he doesn\'t have a clue,...next week he just might ditch his campaign and ask if he can be Obama\'s VP...he\'s all over the place with his message.

And?.....he still vollied for the top nominee spot...and the fact remains that even then he did not have the full support of blacks,..he had very little...i remember his numbers being like 8% or something....again as much as he fought for blacks you\'d expect him to have full support from the afri american community...he didn\'t, so your statement above is irrelevant.

Powell was never a "distinguished" leader in the republican party.  He wasn\'t elected to any office.  McCain knew about his support for Obama back in August.  Nothing new here.

Obama is a socialist... maybe even a borderline marxist.  Look at his policies.  Look at his associations.  Look at his books!  As for being Obama\'s VP... are you off your meds?

He has full support from blacks, yet that isn\'t why he would win.  Since you only make 12 percent of the voters it takes a lot of liberal white douche bags to prop him up.  "Change" "Hope"... sound like mindless zombies.

Yet an all white group of people sticking together is a Klan Meeting right?  This guy won\'t be my President.  The more he screws up the better - and he will.

Ok we\'re at a stalemate as far as Powell goes, tho i feel you\'re a bit sour over Powell\'s support of Obama since you\'re kickin\' dirt on him now and regardless of how you feel of Powell, he still is a distinguished and well respected figure in the republican party..and look at how fast you and others in the republican party have turned on him..with friends like that who needs enemies?...*receives spread the wealth check from Obama that was created thru Giga\'s & kennedy\'s paychecks*..:D.....as far as McCain bein\' Obama\'s VP...are you off YOUR meds?...anybody could see that i was bein\' sarcastic,....

That\'s a negative and nobody said anything about winning......the argument was about sharpton having the full support from blacks during his run for the nominee,...he did not have full support.

Nope... an all white group of people sticking together yelling racist rhetoric like the kind we\'ve seen outside McCain\'s rallys is.

To sum this up..

Any black person who votes for Obama is voting because of race.
Any white person who votes for Obama is a white person wanting to be black or just trying to be cool and hip.

Thank you.

And by the way.

If elected, he will be your President. It\'s one of those things. Just as much as I dislike President Bush, he has been my President for eight long years. So, yeah, if elected, President Obama for you.
Deal with it and move on.
