Well, we had an ice storm here and I\'ve been without electric since Tuesday. I\'m living at my parents currently and it looks like another week before I get electric.

You have a point. I love the beach and even on really hot days, I\'m miserable there. I can\'t stand to walk on hot sand. I rarely go on beaches during heat waves.

That s**t is crazy with what\'s goin\' on up there...i\'ve heard that people are not going to receive power until mid February...:eek:


As far as preference over hot and cold weather? I\'ll take the hot weather....you can always cool off with the AC and in warmer weather, there\'s so much more to do outside...cookouts, the shore, hangin\' out on the porch or patio at 8pm with a cooler while it\'s still light outside?...sign me up..i\'ll take that anyday over cold weather where you practically can\'t do anything outside.

It\'s going on a week for me and I expect at least another week before I get electric. Hell, we didn\'t even have water for two days.

A girl I know was told that they expect it to be at least 14 more days before she gets electric. Good thing she is heading to Florida come Thursday.
