Like I said, the add-ons being one is speculation. And i\'ll give you the benefit of the doubt, and say they are 1. So what? NO add-on has been popular. Especially when XB will have it built in.

As for under production and such, yes. Sony does have a pop. console on it\'s hands. That doesn\'t mean they produced enough. They cut the initial launch in half for christsakes! That, by any definition, is underproduction.

I want to know in what way I\'m biased. Anti Sony? I\'ve defended Sony and PS2 dozens of times in this forum alone, not to mention the numerous \'discussions\' I\'ve had with PS2 bashers in my everyday life. I like PS2. I like my DC. I like my N64. I like my Saturn. I like my PSone. Ect... How am I biased for stating knowledge I\'ve accumulated through enough the gaming media (sites, mag\'s, trade shows, etc.) to choke an elephant? Through 2 decades of being an avid gamer? I\'m going to go meditate. I need to relax....

Btw, I did not mean to call anybody stupid in this argument, it sorta sliped :P

Let me ask you why you try to take whatever news and put a negative spin on it. (ahh, perhaps there will be 2 add-ons\'s... instead of calling it one like it will probably be, i\'ll call it 2 and use it as evidence and call it fact!!... heheheh, 2 addons means more chance of failure.. hehehe) Every dev except the whinners, aka oddworld have said once they got into the ps2 is may have seemed hard but they like the power and the possibility, no company has publically stated that it was hard to do except the whinners.

I don\'t put negative spins on anything. I don\'t think Sony\'s going to break the tradition of add-ons failing. And you made my point, besides contridicting yourself.

Lots of dev teams have stated its difficult to dev for. You just admitted as much. I never said that dev\'s wont stick to it, and utilize the architecture ever, I just said it was difficult. I\'m not biased, I just don\'t think Sony\'s perfect. I make just as harsh a statments on DC boards about Sega. I call \'em as I see \'em.

This doens\'t lead anywhere... The bottom line is that Sony is taking a HUGE risc making add-ons to the PS2, we all more or less agree to that.
Secondary, Sony HAS to make them both cheap, say, 50$ each, and if they are smart, they will include them in some beautiful game that will cost some more, for example, launching the ehternet box together with FFXI, and so on.

PLease please Sony, make these to must-have items...
