Hey man, leave me outta your discussion with jumpman. I don\'t think I flamed ya, and if I did, I apologize. As far as the "opinion" statement, here is what I was addressing:
the dreamcast has been out for how long now? and how many games do they have? And if you think dreamcast graphics are the same as ps2 graphics, then you need to get a pair of glasses
First of all, as I said, they have 175 games. I didn\'t want folks thinking they had none. Do they have more quality games than PS2? Definitely. BUT THEY SHOULD. It\'s a REQUIREMENT to have more quality titles given an extra year of building your library - not an accomplishment. And certainly nothing whatsoever to brag about. PS2 has some outstanding titles, but it is far from blowing DC away visually. It will happen in a year or two though (another thing that is required after an extra year of R & D).
Tekken is more fun (IMO) than any fighting title on Dreamcast (except VF3tb - but I\'m a huge mark for that series). Racing game wise... Rage Racer/Wipeout XL on PSX are still the kings in my book. After your sentence about DC being out a year and having very few games, I had to clear things up - don\'t want anybody getting the wrong impression. Believe me, there are
many that are getting high marks (over 30).
The list of what I\'m playin\' now:
Quake Arena Online, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 (Neversoft\'s gettin\' a christmas card for this one), NFL2k1, NBA2k1, VO:OT, VF3tb, Marine Fishing, Gunbird 2, Marvel vs Capcom 2, Giant Gram 2000, Cannon Spike. The best first year library I\'ve enjoyed on any console so far. I left out Grandia 2, Skies of Arcadia, Shenmue, Jet Grind Radio, Test Drive Le Mans, and many others that are scoring over 90. I don\'t like people saying a console has no good games - or very few. Because at that point you are insulting the developers moreso than the console maker.
