Actually, I\'d prefer it if they were standard USB ports. It would be nice to be able to use old PC devices or shop around to find the cheapest price instead of having to buy it from MS or get some 3rd party crap.
BTW: Shadowflare.. some of the info on that site you posted is wrong. It doesn\'t say anything about the Xbox\'s controller ports being proprietary and it screwed up the PS2 vs Xbox compairison. Now it\'s PS2 that has DVD playback built in with Xbox having to have special software installed on the HDD. Also, if it\'s going to the length of saying that broadband will be a future upgrade to the PS2.. they should have put the HDD as a future upgrade as well since the modem and HDD will be one package that slides into the expansion bay in the back. No details on size were given, but I think I remember Ken Kuteragi saying that they\'d like the HDD to be in the "Tens of Gigs" range. (Which really translates into about 10-20). And lets not forget that the PS2 HDD is removable, allowing you to keep as much data as you want as long as you\'re willing to buy more HDD\'s.
