How many of us spend more time here than playing our ps2\'s
« on: January 09, 2001, 03:07:14 AM »
I was curious about this one since i noticed that i am here much more than on my ps2 these days. I have pretty much played the heck out of every game released so far and now I\'m dying for something new. how about you guys ?
p.s. anyone have fifa 2001? I haven\'t gotten this yet but heard it was cool. It sewems like it would be similar  to hockey but on a larger scale.

Same here. Im spending more time playing Half Life Counterstrike, and spending time on these forums.

But that will change in March.
I met him 15 years ago, I was told there was nothing left, no reason, no concious, no understanding and even the most rudamentory sense of life or death, good or evil, right or wrong, I met this 6 year old child with this blang pale emotionless face and, the blackest eyes, the devils eyes, I spent 8 years trying to reach him, and then another 7 trying to keep him locked up because I realised what was living behind that boys eyes was purly and simply evil.

LOL Yes, but that\'s the problem with Fifa 2001 - it does play like a poor game of ice hockey, however, in real life the sport of soccer bears no resemblence to hockey! It\'s a very very poor game IMO, rent it first. I\'m glad I didn\'t have to buy my copy.

Im definitely spending more time here than playing ps2...but theres an explanation : Im connected all day long from work
to check new threads and responses, and I\'m only playing when im back home...

As im living with a girl, unfortunately I dont spend 6 hours in a row playing like I used to....good thing is that games last longer !!!

Well, maybe this will change in march...

Well, I don\'t think this forum gonna be that empty. When you guys start playing the "March Games" and amazed by its supernatural graphics, then there will be to urge to tell them your story, that "them" will be people in this forum.

I guess that\'s gonna change when this game is released:

Usually I spend much more time here than playing PS2 :)

But it depends.. today I don\'t have the time to be here... and I played PS2 with my friend so TODAY I\'ve spent more time with PS2 than computer...

But still usually I post here... why? Because I enjoy it...

But of course spending time with a friend is much more fun playing Timesplitters than surfing net...

I spend gaming to PS2 abot 2 hours per day and in the weekend about 4... in internet I spend about 3 Hours. But March is different in USA (here, in europe, about June) with the online game. And I must tell al you that the first online game for ps2 is releasing in Japan on March 8th. It´s Atrain-6 and you can find more information in coremagazine.com

Football (soccer) is like hockey but on a larger scale??! WHAT!?? That\'s like comparing  basketball with golf except on a smaller scale and without clubs. Please don\'t insult the wonderful world of football as I get offended easily when it comes to this incredible sport (as u may have noticed :P ). Anyway you may like FIFA2001 it\'s a nice game though admittedly not al that great.

About posting, I dont\'t post much as it shows from the date i registered and the no. of posts i have although i do spend more time reading other posts than playing games. Anywayz I have a humble question : since I am one of the oldest members of this forum isn\'t it paradoxical that I\'m a junior member? Can\'t I be ..don\'t know..a  senior-not-so-active- member or something of the sort? Maybe mm or bjorn can think of something..please?

Well the only real difference is the fights in Hockey are between the players, the fights in soccer are in the stands.

Then theres the whole Ice/Puck/Skates/Equipment/Bone crushing checks differences.

Hockey rules the planet
