Square to bring two games to NGC...

you dont like square games?, thats fine. I bet when square develops for xbox you suddenly LOVE them! Square is the one who breaks or makes a console.

You all said mgs2 would go to xbox, you were looking foward to it! Now that hideo said that it will be a MGS1 directors cut thingy, you xbox guys suddenly dont care about mgs2 anymore!!

what are you talking about i own a psx i had ff7 and i din\'t like it. No if square goes to xbox, that will be good for ms, but as far as me, i couldn\'t care less. I\'d rather see a game take the foot steps of grandia2 an rpg with innvation, not the same old **** square pulls out every year. But again i hope to not affend, caus eif you like ff series that\'s cool.

Now as for mgs i have never played the game, never really cared for it, though i hear it rocks!!! as for this directors cut thing from what i read http://www.computerandvideogames.com/story.cfm?sid=2117&filter=11 mgx will be both mgs1 and mgs2 mixed together, it will have the whole number one game, and some of number 2, also enhancements will be added. this link is offical. But you must understand at heart i am both a pc /console gamer. But i love my pc a little more. So i will give mgx a play if i like the mgs series i will buy the game.

You dont like FF7, Its the best RPG ever made (IMO)!
and you like grandia 2 (great game) well, it will be ported to ps2 and pc

It wont happen, even if ms monoplized the consoles, then the next machine they make would fail, and bye bye ms would go. Someone else would come along with something better. I like firm, and tight competition like the good old days of SNES/Genies. Competition forces both company\'s to pull out the best innovative games and hardware they can.

aye,Namco have been doing so for Dreamcast already,haven\'t you been getting around . as for Square on GC,hmmm i do not see it happening anytime soon,not saying it can\'t happen but it looks highly unlikely this year...i do hear GC will have a Mario game though

 At first, it seemed to be a terrible business move for Nintendo, but now, it looks good.

 Why settle for Square on just the handheld? If they want to develop for the GBA, then make them have to develop for the Cube -- I think thats pretty smart.

Forget about conditions and just bring out the games. Also just because Square said they expect initial resistance and are going to do everything in their power to develop for GC does not mean it will happen. All that French article did for me were 2 things: 1) It helped me brush up on my french which I took early in college and 2) It reasserted my one belief about Nintendo: They\'re too damn stubborn.

Then SONY will know exacty how nintendo felt, when square stabbed them in the back. Though i really hope that annoucment has something to do with sega, though i doubt it.

Unlike what Square did with Nintendo, I doubt they would "abandoned" the PS2 like how Square abandoned the N64. For one thing, all the big games are still coming to the PS2. All the Final Fantasys at least. So, even I doubt Square would be truely "backstabing" Sony if they did announce support for the Xbox since, this doesn\'t mean they would stop development for Sony.

sony and square have very close relations(FF the movie), so many games are already confirmed. And what is the point of developing for a console which has no chance in japan?
