Mini-disk can be produced for the same amount-if not less then the average DVD. Just because it is a propeirty (spell check) format, it doesn\'t mean it will cost much. Remember, Sega used GD-ROMs and the games was at most $50 dollars. Expect GameCube games to be the same price as DC games or the average PS2 game.

What the hell is http://www.gamecube.f2s.com/ ? That\'s not an official site, and I doubt that\'s an official poster - release in July?

Ok, wait a sec, I\'m confused now.

It\'s a link to a GC poster, but the site that the pic is on is not the official nintendo site, and I haven\'t heard anything along these lines at DR or IGN.

Yea is this true?  If it is, Keep in mind that\'s the Japanese price.  The PS2 in Japan cost somewhere around $370 at launch, but $300 here in US.  Could it possibly be $99 when launched overseas?

And to everyone who doubted me when I said the price could get as low as $99 - $149, saying that it would at least cost $250:  I TOLD YOU SO!!!

Note: If the posted link turns out to be false then please disregard everything above. :)

Ok, now the odds of me getting a GC have gone up 25%, good work Nintendo. I just hope you don\'t lose a lot of money doing this.

That is an official GameCube site everyone. Its just as official as Nintendo.com.

But I\'ll wait for more confirmation before I get my hopes up. If this is true then great. Xbox won\'t dominate **** when NGC has a price tag of 150!!! :D

I\'m really proud of nintendo...it looks as if they might have this thing down--a true return to gaming.. a revolution of sorts-- a revolution of returning to the days where gaming was fun regardless of graphics...where simplicity took the stage...and where all this good fun was usually pretty cheap...Good work Nintendo!

the disks for the gamecube are 8 cm disks, and ninteno gets a hefty commission for each one

launch in july?  i highly doubt it, but then again, nintendo is desperate
