Yea, it\'ll be shown at Gamestock. 16,000 polygons just for each car!!!! Christ, how much for the environments?!?!?!?!?!
If you spend a lot of power in Physics,AI,realism,ecc,you can\'t have more than 4-5000 polys for each car just in this generation of games...but if you use most of the power to amaze people with a high number of polys,neglecting realism,physics and bla bla...then you can have even 16,000 polygons for each car;it depends how developers use the available power!
However I\'d like to make some little questions for people who seem a little confused...
- Do you think a hypothetical dreary platform game on X-Box made by a decent developer with 16.000 polys for the main character can beat Mario64 on the Nintendo 64?
- Do you think more polys alone do better games?
- Don\'t you realize you have to turn-on your brain before speaking?
- Isn\'t it a main forum? :rolleyes:
