When i heard this news i lost (and to use MM phrase) what little respect for nintendo i had left.
I would get one but then again i am well over 14 now and my balls have droped long before then, so sorry Nintendo you have missed the boat on that one again, gave up on Mario when i was still required to goto School everyday (Primary School that is "thats elementry School for non UK residents" ).
Pay through the nose for a hand held with old games and very linited capabilityes for 3d rendering.
Thats Probabily why all the old 2D Snes games are getting a "relaunch".
Mario Nope
Super Metroid "good game but why buy it a second time ?"
Zelda on the GBA is the only realy "good" thing going for it but still, why buy it a second time?
Why play that kind of money for a HANDHELD when i can just dust off my Snes i have in storage ?
If you ask me they shoud think along these lines
Oni in japanese means GHOST or DEMON
Nintendo should change there name to "Boat" and "missed" in Japanese,
They missed the Boat with the SONY partnership
They Missed the Boat with the Nintendo 64
Are they going for a HAT TRICK (Football/Soccer slang for 3 in a row) with the GBA ?
And if Nintendo think i am going to play + £30 for a HANDHELD GAME THEN THEY HAVE ANOTHER THING COMMING.
My only consern is that, is this a insight into Nintendos plans for there future, "Screw all the Older gamers lets concentrate on kids".
Oh Dear God please prevent them from doing another N64 with the nintendo Game Cube.
But i can tell you this...
The GBA will be the UK leading Handheld, but then again when it is launched in the UK the only other handheld will be THE GAME BOY COLOUR !
