Well, I didn\'t see people call Nintendo kiddy before the N64 when they had some of the same exclusives.  I guess it\'s just a coincidence that Nintendo becomes kiddy as soon as Pokemon is popular.

What exactly is kiddy about Nintendo\'s games?  Oh, and if you want to judge games by ESRB rating, then that would mean Sports games would be kiddy.

ESRB means exactly what it means.  It clearly states that Nintendo\'s games are for EVERYONE.  Not for 1-10 year olds, not 11-13 year olds, not to 14-18 year olds, and not to 19+.  It\'s for EVERYONE.

I still want to know exactly what makes Nintendo kiddy other than Pokemon, and Yoshi\'s Story.
It seems as if the people [casual gamers] that we consider to know absolutely nothing are the ones that actually know the most important thing: Name brands don\'t make the console, games do.

N64 was a great system but not one of the most underrated. It did not have enough AAA games, or just games for that matter. Depending on what kinds of games you like the N64 could have been a waste of plastic. If I am into fighting games and RPGs what is my reasoning for getting an N64? There is none. For these people the N64 is overrated.

100% agreed, this is why I dumped them, I went to psx for fighting games, racing games, RPGs and MGS!!!

for me N64 was a BIG dissapointment, yes Zelda was great so were the other 1st party games. But I\'m to old for them, I feel like a kid when i play them

MGR, how old are you?

I have never felt like a child, when I play Nintendo games.  I don\'t care what people say, I want my Nintendo games darnit.  I\'ve played them for 3 generations (4 generations w/GC), and I haven\'t gotten tired of them.

What exactly about them makes you feel like a kid?  Oh well, I can say this much.  When you are old and crippled you\'ll probably play Nintendo games to feel like a kid again ;).
