Ah but you see there lays the problem.

Lanning won\'t confirm if he did/ or didn\'t say it, because it will make him look like an ARSE

and the

Rouge Leader Crew cant say anyhing or they will be seen to be either

  • Making it up to destroy a competitors Rep
and
  • It could being bad publicity, if a "fellow" developer is quotes as dissing their product



pitty they didn\'t have a fight or somthing after he said

"Oh, so this is the game that\'s supposed to look better than the Xbox? How pathetic!"

then we would realy know if there was bad blood between them.

While I think that shot of Abe looks better, I never said Munch wasn\'t possible on PS2, and I didn\'t support Lanning saying that specificly. And J&D wasn\'t shown when he said that.

Listen go and watch the video taken from e3 where lanning explains his game, there he describes what he was able to acomplish on XBOX that simply could not be done on PSX2

Snatcher and Policenauts were great games. Not to mention the Metal Gear series completely annihilates the Oddworld games. Both by design and technical aspects. Don\'t get me wrong, I like Oddworld, but this guy is no super designer.

I can\'t believe that you could bash a guy that is doing something more developers need to do, MAKE ORIGINAL GAMES!  MGS2 and J&D are definitely NOT original.  I would definitely call Munch one of the most original games coming out, I bet nobody can think of a game that is anything like it.

The only reason Lanning is getting dissed on here is because he left PS2, how pathetic can you be?  If the Factor 5 can\'t take criticism for a completely unoriginal game, then maybe they shouldn\'t be making games at all.

If you actually took the time to watch the video(which is obvious you didn\'t) you would learned something. Instead you just shoot of your mouth. What lanning was able to accomplish on XBOX had to do with hardware design(GPU) Therefore it has nothing to do with what he didn\'t know how to do.

I was referring to MG as a whole. From the beginning of Metal Gear to now. I sure as hell prefer to play a MG game than an Oddworld game. Not that I dislike Oddworld.
