I believe the four big agencies in 1984 were "The Ministry of Peace," "The Ministry of Plenty," "The Ministry of Truth," and "The Ministry of Love."  Each one was primarily involved in activities which were the opposite of it\'s name.  Afghanistan is the real world version of Airstrip One.  The main difference is that religion was thoughtcrime in Orwell\'s Oceania.

Not true. A fanatic is someone who is, for lack of a better word, overdevoted to something. There are gaming fanatics, sports fanatics, et. al. But she\'s right, religious fanatics have proven to be the most dangerous, look at all the atrocites throughout history committed in the name of a religion.

OK, But who are you to say someone is "over"devoted to something?

About those atrocities. Were they all commited by fanatics?

The Taliban can do pretty much anything they want right now.  After the Soviet\'s Afghan war, NO ONE wants to mess with Afghanistan ever again.  The only hope for them is an internal coup, but that\'s not likely to happen.  Perhaps we could provide a little covert assistance... naw that\'s too humanitarian.  The CIA doesn\'t give a damn about the Taliban.

BTW, how much confidence would you have in your government if your head of state carried the title "MULLAH?"

I dont wanna sound prejuduce but Muslims talking sh1t about Americans are stupid. They(some) call us pigs and think we are awful and God will make us pay for being evil, when they are making people do that! If a Muslim came up to me and said something bad about my country and would beat the **** out of him until he bleeds or starts to beg for mercy.

OK, so Americans talking sh!t about muslims are better? There are two sides to every coin don\'t think your side is always the right side. I am not saying what they are doing is right because its not but don\'t act as if Americans are morally right and just because they are far from that. Americans have just as many(in some cases more) atrocities in their history as most of these other countries.

Religious Fanatics are defiantly the worst.
Who are we to judge who is a fanatic?
When a person believes so strongly in something that they will go to great lengths to effect someone elses life, THAT IS A FANATIC!
Like when people find out Im and athiest and go out of there way to prove to me that IM evil and am goin to hell, thats a fanatic.Especially when it has been Historically religions who have caused most world problems.(this is true, and if you dont believe me, anyone is willing to PM me and I will give you a laundry list).
The Muslims have recently come to the conclusion that right now they are the worst group out there. Anything at all that contradicts what they believe is immediatly blashphemous and usually those people are punished severly in some way if just not outright killed.
If someone doesnt believe as they do, they feel they have the right to destroy that persons life.

P.S. Gohan, when was the last time you saw a muslim doll or flag burned in effergy in america. Thats right, it hasnt happened in a LONG time.
There isnt a day that goes by that our president(no matter which one) or the american flag is burned over in a muslim controlled country.

P.S. When was the last time you saw an American being dragged to death behind a truck or being shot to death for pulling out his wallet by a Muslim? Seriously America is far from a perfect country.

BTW, It was less than 20 years ago when Americans were burning the AMERICAN flag because of some of the bullsh!t we have pulled.
