I should also add that having finshed everything in Oblivion (\'cept for Shivering Isles), the game is somewhat a dissapointment towards the end. Infact, the only true fun I had was the Dark Brotherhood guild.

mm what kind of pc do you have anyway? oblivion runs pretty damn well on a 7900

anyway, using "superior" for the ps3 version against the 360 version is a bit too strong. with the recent graphics patch, they look the same now. though i\'ll give it to you that the ps3 version loads 2.5 seconds faster than the 360 version.

that\'s something i guess, however slight or negligible ;)

Anyone wanna guess who made these quotes?

Quote
what i dislike about oblivizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

PC > consoles
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Oblivion

Quote
1st person view RPG\'s make me want to vomit

(It does have a third person view - and this I can agree with, as I played Oblivion in third person.)

Quote
oblivion = morrowind + 15%
it\'s the RPG equivalent of EA\'s madden football

And I am still digging for the quote concering how the superior version is the version that allows user-supported mods. I know that one exists somewhere.

:D

Wait..

Quote
mods, mods, mods

Quote
no good mods yet?

obviously you haven\'t even looked

the 360 version is overpriced

Then what is the PS3 version?

This is from Soul Reaver regarding why Oblivion is better on his 360.
Quote
It really is the only good reason. Along with playing on my comfortable couch.

This is MM\'s response.

you have a wooden crate at your computer desk?

Here is another great one.

Quote
class defining and world changing mods are hardly simple and something the crippled 360 version is presently incapable of doing

One of my favorites.
Quote
i am going with the console vs pc thing.
oblivion on the pc is far superior to the 360 version.
to the point where the 360 version is a waste of money if you have a mid-grade PC

Don\'t spend that $1500, just need a "mid-grade PC".

Quote
lol, like any PC user can\'t browse out to megagames or any mod site and freely get them

the titled isn\'t crippled on the PC version

At least the PS3 version is the "superior" one. I mean, it obviously must include all these great free mods. I also think we should volunteer to help buy MM a new PC that is at least "mid-range"..Oh and get rid of that wooden crate at your desk.

;)

i heard the ps3 had a lot better framerates than the 360. A coworker with a 360 was talking about how much it was stuttering on him. then again, he doesnt have it connected to the internet, so maybe the patch does fix it.

I\'ve never played it though. watched my brother play a bit (on pc), but I didnt like the first person view either. and third person looked like crap too, and used up his above-average computer\'s resources like a motherfucker. But STALKER is a fun ass game. Been playing BF2 since im close to a few awards, but i\'ve gone a good amount through stalker and its pretty damn cool

The biggest problem with the 360 was a cache issue. You could clean your cache and it would run fine. There was also a patch that improved it slightly.

As\' right. I bought the 360 for games like BioShock but... yeah. It was inevitable.

Who is this anamoly we call Jumpman? How is he able to do what he does and still survive after years of torment? It seems he feeds on the hate, growing with an intense passion to put unassuming members in their place.

At least your PS3 won\'t break down every second month.

BTW, serious question: Is the Wii novelty wearing off? Or is it still enjoyable? I heard some people talk about how there aren\'t really any great games for it right now. And even though I haven\'t looked real hard, it also seems to be the case to me.

The remote doesn\'t lose its effectiveness. It\'s a capable controller.

The great games haven\'t been there except for on occasion, though, so unless you\'re willing to give something like Super Mario Strikers (EGM gave it 5 out of 5), there\'s not much to do with it. I\'ve been playing my Xbox 360 lately, personally.

The new Madden should be fun. Metroid and Super Mario are on the way. Ghost Squad from Sega looks promising, although it\'s an arcade port. As it is, there\'s a slow paced Super Paper Mario and some people have enjoyed different games such as Trauma Center or The Godfather. But for the most part, the line up is lacking.
