You cant compare diffrent models!

Trust me.. It uses the same models ingame as it does in the realtime cutscense.

There is no CG videos in DoA2..

If you have played the game, you\'d know!

Nope.. DoA2HC looks that good..

Ask anyone who owns it..

wELL i had th game before trading it in. And if you can\'t compare models. Then how are you saying that the game looks as good as one cut scene? Doa2 looks good, but your taking it way to far.

Fastson they reviewed the game at TGS. And that last screen of doa2 you showed not an in game pic but rather a FMV pic.

Not quite. DOA2:HC is all in real-time. There\'s no mode-switch. As fastson already pointed out, it\'s the same in-game. I\'ve had DOA2 since the DC, and then I had the PS2 version for a while. I\'ve played it tons. If you think DOA3 is much better looking than DOA2, then good for you. I sure as hell don\'t think it does.

  • DOA2:HC uses the same game engine for the cut scenes. So it is all in game graphics. Now, I am sorry if you cannot tell the difference bewteen FMV and ingame graphics. But, DOA2 uses ingame graphics for its cinemas.
  • DOA3 looks good. But, it isn\'t that impressive. Still,  MS says its an early beta. So, who knows? It may improve and it may not. Either way it will sell plenty. Then again, I don\'t think T4 looks impressive.
  • The DOA series sucks in general.

Thank You.

I should of probably mentioned that the \'sucking\' part was personal opinion.

Personally, I think DOA3 will look great. Tecmo is a great developer as they proved with the DC and PS2 (more so on the DC tho, IMHO). Given the power of the Xbox and ease of development, they should be able to provide beautiful results.

It should be interesting this year.. The release of Virtua Fighter 4, Tekken 4 and DOA3. Which will look the best? And which will get the most attenion from the consumers and critics?

It\'s not that I did not respect the others opinion I was just debating it. And finally after L.I.C. post I just came to realization that everyone else was right. Nothing person I agree with everyone else I just quoted him because he was last to post on it. Nothing personal I just could not quote everyone else and say I agree with you all.

I\'ve played the European version of DOA2, and I thought it looked horrible. Previously I had thought that jaggies are nothing to complain about, but this game changed my mind. It was one huge flickerfest. Maybe it was the monitor they demo\'d the game on, but the sharp jaggies left a deep scar in my soul.
