I don\'t understand the logic behind handing over some of the best games to 1/2nd party Sony developers who ruin the game. Some examples:[list=1]- Twisted Metal 3 - 989
- Twisted Metal 4 - 989
- Gameday - 989
- Gamebreaker - 989
- Cool Boarders 3 - 989
- Crash - (whoever the hell it is...It doesn\'t matter what their name is)
Yeah, I agree. My first Twisted Metal game I bought was TM3. When playing it I could not understand what the people was going on about??....I then played TM2 a few weeks after that and realized how brilliant the game use to be.
It all depends on developers if the game is going to be good or if it is going to suck. This is why I always say "Consoles mean nothing, it is the games that are made for them that make them". The only reason the PS1 did well is because of it\'s excellent games. Think of this: The PS1 took out Sega Saturn, N64 and a bit of the Dreamcast (and in the beginning it even took out it\'s older brother, the PS2).
The PS2\'s games are currently not looking to good but the future is looking bright. Sony is also one of the best marketing companies in the world. In South Africa, no one knows that the Xbox or Gamecube excists...why you ask me?....because Sony has been in the marketing game longer than Microsoft and Nintendo does not have a fan base here........Sony has made a name for themselves.
Because of their good marketing, the PS2 will come out on top.....but the games better improve to keep it there.
