Look ethug, is that the best you could do. You posted what you wanted to say and for that you should\'ve expected some backlash, which is fine, free speech is what I believe. I can\'t and won\'t change the way you feel.

But lashing out with "Blah Blah Blah" and soforth is just a defect. So now what do you do, if were to believe in all your rehtoric.

I really don\'t know what to say about it. Which is why I have avoided responding until now.

I am a proponent of free speach, which is why I enjoy internet based message boards. However, there is a fine line between stating one\'s own opinion and just tactlessly disrespecting the memory of the child who comminted this act, as well as disrespecting the grieving family and friends.

Furthermore, such comments are hurtful to people who live with or know people who live with disabilities/illness.

No one is asking you to modify your opinions, EThugg, but maybe you could show some respect? It is the least you can do.

Those on death row got themself on it. They killed someone, and resulted in getting punishment. This was  a personal choice for them. Yet, you think if someone is sick mentally from a chemical inblanace, they should kill themself?

So, let me get this straight.

If I kill five people--get on death row, I shouldn\'t die. Because, the death penatly is harsh.

But, if I have a chemical inbalance, I should kill myself, because I\'m weak?

That is some pretty screwed up logic.

Does anybody else think EThugg should be banned, Phil is my cousin and he does have a chemical imbalance that causes depression, you didnt answer him, do you think he should kill himself, do you?, free speach is something that I believe in but I think you went to far and you should be banned from the site, doesnt it bother you that you feel this way about somebodys life

I refuse to say if EThugg should be banned. It is not my choice. The MODS/ADMINS make that choice.

I do agree, that Ethugg may of went overboard with his opinion. I have never said anything about his way of being extreme and in times, I think it fully works out, because sometimes it gets his point across. In this topic, I think it was a touchy subject, because obviously there will be mixed emotions on this and there is obviously the chance that some board members do suffer from manic depression or another type of mental illness.

ETHUGG is just anti-everything. He means no harm. Or maybe he does.

I don\'t mind free speech,  in an age where everything is "Politically Correct" it makes a difference.

I have always tried to express what i thought, sometimes i just joke too much, and it comes out in a bad way.

But i don\'t think anybody should be banned from a forum just because they have an opinion, even though
95 percent of people might think it is in bad taste.

If a person breaks a forum rule, and has been warned, then maybe.

I read on theRegister.co.uk that some XBox editor on IGN got into some sh!t because he said something about Nintendo fans being "Nazis", well-fu@k-di-do.

Yes he is entitled to free speech, but still thats just sick, just because a person is born that way or they don\'t have a great childhood doesnt mean they should die, what the hell is the matter with him, I\'m glad hes banned

I think Ethugg is funny, and since he is now banned I will pick up where he left off.
My view point is a little different thought.
It has nothing to do with this kid.
He said, "Humans overpopulating the earth is a serious problem." blah blah blah. Read his post if you want to know exactly what he said.
But he was right. And the reason this is such a problem is because humans have cheated mother nature by side stepping natural selection. For example, lets say you are 100 years old and you contribute nothing more to society anymore, because all you do is sit in a chair all day and consume resources needed for others in this world. In a perfect society, one ruled by nature, that person would have been killed by health or predators since they can no longer support themselves and since they no longer contribute anything to society. But, in this sentimental, sensitive society resources needed for the hungry or the needy are set aside for this person.

So do you consider yourself Greek?  They believed that Life was perfect in the beginning, then it started going all downhill.  Plus, games and computers don\'t exist in a "perfect society, one ruled by nature"  You have to give up on natural selection in order for time to relax and play games.

Wow now I see why MM banned him and this is worse then what he was banned for. I was gonna try and defend him in the other thread with the petition but not anymore... He says weak people should kill themselves? He\'s the weak one here. I hope he has a kid with a mental deficiancy (SP? Word? lol) and he sees what it\'s like. It\'s not the kids fault, it\'s in their genes, they\'re born with genes. Where do they get these genes? Their parents. I guess if Ethugg had a kid it would be pretty messed up, just look at what EThugg is saying, his kid would be just as bad as what he is talking about.
