And it sounds like he didn\'t play the game much before he reviewed it, because the handling is great, as the other guys that have this game will tell, you can fly around the corners, so i don\'t know what he is going on about in the handling department.
 

This is true, I seen the CPU cars brake before hiting you in the harder levels.   The RX8, 4WD Skyline handles great.  Of all 16 cars I have now the RX8 handles the best so far even in the rain levels.  It took me over 3 days working hard to get this car.  You need 4 gold in the arcade easy level to unlock the RX8.   Its damn hard but its sweet!  All the cars you can see every detail in side. All the dashbords and seats are like what it would look in real life. Even the driver move left or right when turning and when the you hit a wall too he move.   He even up or down shifts. You can see his arm shifting the gears.   I\'m working on opening the F360 on the Kudos Challenge.

Honestly PGR looks like Ridge Racer V.  Smoother textures, cars, and cities.  Ooh what a waste my parents spent...for almost 2 identical games.  What\'s new about it the Kudos, paint jobs, cities, cars, and you can make your own soundtrack.

I would love to be able to own an Xbox and a NGC and all the good games on both of those systems, but right now, there are more important things for me to spend my money/time on.  I could go out and buy an Xbox/NGC tonight, but to me, it wouldn\'t be worth it.  I am very happy with the games I own on the PS2, and the games coming out on the PS2 in the future.  And like I\'ve said many times before, right now there isn\'t a must have game (or even a combination of games) for me on the NGC or Xbox to warrant a $200-$300 purchase.

What the hell are you going on about? that is the biggest load of crap i have heard, yeah the graphic maybe nice, but not unheard of, i mean race a TT let it pull away, and when you get closer to it look at the wheel, and you will see it plain as day change shape and quality, so i don\'t they are quiet the unheard of graphics you are going on about.

Ok, name one console game that was released before or at the same time as GT3 that looked as good as GT3.  By saying, "that is the biggest load of crap i have heard" you make it sound as if there were a lot of games that were as good, if not better looking than GT3.  So if you will, just name one that you think looks better.

What how can you say that, the race where it is like a circle i can\'t remember what it is called, the jaggies were horrid on that level, that is the first track i played on and it left me with a very bad taste in my mouth, yeah a few tracks look nice, but not like you are going on about.

All I know is that on my TV the jaggies and shimmering are hardly noticable and only on a few stages.  Most of the stages look beautiful.  And I think most of the media would agree with me.

Just incase you don\'t know i do have GT3 with the steeering wheel and if it wasn\'t for the steering wheel this game would have been put on the shelf alot quicker, this game is not fun in an way shape for form.

You bought a $100 steering wheel for a game you don\'t even like?  Maybe that has something to do with your bitterness towards GT3...

I\'m still trying to figure out how this thread, "Project Gotham Racing.....best looking racer ever?!?!?"[/b] turned into a GT3 gameplay bash.  To debate this would be foolish, because gameplay funfactor is based on opinion even more so than the graphics are.  Obviously you are not into simulation racing games and like the gameplay of PGR better.  There is no arguing with that.

Lets settle this:

Both GT3 and PGR look like crap. Make way for Stunt Race FX!

Also i don\'t hate GT3 it is ok, best thing is all the cars, but all i am saying is that for ME it isn\'t as good as what people are going on about, it is just an old game with better graphics, that is the way i feel about it.
Now for me a kick ass game is MGS2 or GTA3 now they are worth haveing a PS2 for alone.
I am not going to fall out with you dude over a racing game, because if that is all we have to worry about then we are BOTH sad, there are much more important things in life.
Like last night a found out that i boy i knew that i went to school with was killed riding his bike, and it has hit home for me, i mean  we sit here say this game is better that game is better, when what we should be doing is just enjoying the games, i am going to get GT3 out agian at the weekend, give it another go, because PGR has really got me into racing games, i played it for 3 hours last night, didn\'t want to stop but my girlfriend was over, so i thought i better stop:D

I never said GT3 was better gameplay wise.  I only said it was better graphics wise.  You are the one who keeps on bringing up gameplay, and I keep on telling you that debating that would be stupider than debating which game has better graphics.

Look Ironfist i tryed to clear the air with you, but you just won\'t let it go will you, i have got much better things to do with my time, then keep comming back in here and clicking the little quote button.

In your house with it on your TV and taking your time with the game, where as i can because i did give GT3 some time, and i still stand by what i said that GT3 isn\'t fun in any way shape or form.
Ok i did say you are sad, but it came out wrong it was a typo, it was ment to be it is very sad, not you are very sad, ok i did not mean to call anyone sad, just sad that i good game would be looked over like that. Don\'t take Gamespot\'s word nor IGN\'s word for granted. I\'d definately rent any games before you buy them, unless it\'s a series your dedicated to.

It\'s all personal preference. From clips of PGR, I thought it was hella cool. And being I own MSR, I also thought the gameplay was gonna be there.

As newer technology comes out, reviewers become picker because consoles have more potiental and features.

Plus, I really don\'t find it fair comparing a title for a system that\'s young to a title on PS2 that\'s been out since 1999 and has matured. Developers are still "learning" the system. I bet if they have some sort of sequeal for PGR, it\'s going to look just as good if not better the 2nd time around.
